Good run time
Good quality. Is able to keep my computer and monitors running for quite a long time. Just be careful when moving it. It’s very heavy

purchased for use with Playstation/PSVRm works perfectly. now l dont have to worry if there are brownouts and or power loss while playing a certain game which has this nasty habit of making you redownload 20GB of data if its not powered down properly.

Worse than not having a UPS
Bought to keep pump running on aquarium in case of powercut. After the first day of use I discovered it had turned itself off, stayed off, and no longer worked, despite there not having been any powercut. Worse than not having a UPS. Returned it.

UPS, works
Tested in practice in brief outage (switching off mains for an unconnected reason). Works as required, not much more to say.

Small, light and value for money, however if you are buying to use with the monitoring software on Linux - Dont! The cd does have a binary app to use however it doesn't recognise the UPS and standard linux utils can't communicate with it

Unreliable, short life span
I'm an IT reseller and have sold quite a few of these to my poor unsuspecting clients in the past 3 years. This particular 1.5KVA model is horrendous, it is hugely unreliable and average life span is between 12 and 18 months. I've used them to protect servers, running them on an average load of no more than 20%. Their failure rate is unacceptable. Powercool isn't quite "up there" with the expensive kit like APC and their 2KVA units are excellent, but this particular model will NOT be your friend. They die quite abruptly (thankfully no toxic smoke, acid explosions or sparking) and once they do, they will beep (more squawk like a chicken getting strangled) endlessly until the battery finally runs out. I've had anomalies on a number of servers these were meant to "protect" and suspect they cause more harm than good. In fact, it would probably be safer to attach your precious server with rusty jumper leads to a non-earthed radio mast on a hill in the middle of a massive electrical storm, than hook it up to one of these. Rather spend a bit more and get the beefier 2KVA unit, which I've had no trouble with.

Does the job.
2 power cuts in one month and it kept my desktop PC, 2 monitors and USB attachments going each time. So does the job.
