This 50+ Year Old Appreciates the Power of Turmeric-Curcumin
One achy finger joint was all it took to realize Turmeric has positive impact on aging joints, at least for me it does! This Antler Farms brand of Turmeric Curcumin delivers a healthy dose of both supplements in easy to swallow capsules. These capsules have very little ddor and I experienced no bubble-gut or nasty burps. And like other brands I have tried, they work to lessen the pain in my finger tip joints quite well. In fact, if I forget to take them in the morning, my fingers often let me know by lunchtime. This bottle contains a two month supply, so figure $10/month at the price of $20 (at time of review), it puts this brand at the higher but reasonable end of the scale.

Okay but smells weird
Most turmeric capsules have a fresh turmeric smell when you open the jar, and no taste while or after swallowing them. These have a smell that isn't bad or off but isn't turmeric or pepper either. Not sure what it is. Maybe just a more processed turmeric? They have an aftertaste of turmeric which is okay. The total amount of turmeric and pepper is similar to other brands, per pill. But the curcuminoids extract amount here is larger. I'm not sure why that is. I do appreciate that there are no fillers beyond rice. I am always wary of brands that say "organic" but aren't certified organic but at least here they aren't saying they're organic on the front label or in an icon. It's just a claim for some of the ingredients, which is allowed by law.

I didn't think it work at all. It's not better than the cheaper ones. It's not top notch to me.
