I've always wanted to string lights over the pool, but no outlets are close so unless we get a REALLY long light set we need a good solar option to power the lights. These are already a really long length (100ft) and have a solar panel/battery so I took a shot at it. I was initially disappointed as I did not realize they have a light sensor and won't come on until it's dark. Once I realized that, I was happy with how they looked and strung them up. I drilled the included solar panel bracket directly into my Queen palm (I hope someday she can forgive me), and strung them up from palm to palm to pole to palm. Once it got dark, they came on and I use the "6 hour on" setting so they click off sometime after we are asleep. That's plenty of time for us well-seasoned types, but you young partiers might opt for the "8 hour on" button.The light is a warm white and just the perfect brightness for us at 100%. It has a few options to dial it back to 75%, 50%, and 25% brightness, but they are not overly bright for what we want. It illuminates the area so you can see where you're walking, but not really as bright as the photos would suggest. I don't think we want to sit in the hot tub and see EVERYTHING, know what I mean? So, goldilocks brightness FTW!

They also come with a remote which is very convenient.

The media could not be loaded.  I'm impressed by these lights. They're solidly built. They come with a good remote with timer, dimming and pattern options. The included solar panel is big and solid. Light output isn't the highest, but that's inevitable when you're dealing with solar-powered sets.The round bulbs are attractively warm in white temperature. We are struck by the quality of this set.
