I don't even need to be in the same room and it still corrects my dog! (Of course I reward after, but the fact is that it works very well). I don't mind the scent of citronella, so it is a good product for me. It is a little pricey, however I've used it 3-5x day for about a week now and it still has so much "air" left in it. All in all, a great buy for your dog if you're having troubles correcting with a regular water spray or when you're working from home!

We took in two foster pups and our female has a mouth like no other, haha. When she starts barking she does NOT stop! She is a 8 month old terrier mix and about 40 lbs and looks and sounds aggressive when she gets going....at anything....other dogs....people....squirrels..... butterflies....falling leaves....the list goes on. I have a two year old, small cattle dog who has all sorts of energy. This seems to help because it’s just enough to distract her from whatever she’s not supposed to be doing. Of course, a minute away from them, the sound is enough to get their attention. Plus it comes in a two pack and there are plenty of sprays per bottle.

Our Dog responds well to a burst of noise/spray. It has a pleasant odor. Maybe she is responding to both the odor and sound? Either way our dog is getting better at random barking. We still allow her to bark, if someone is at our front door. Hopefully the random barking will cease completely with more practice with the Dog Corrector.

This is the first technique and product we tried that has actually worked to stop our dog's barking. Now we just have to say "no bark" and hold up the can and the house stays quiet. We've been using this successfully for several weeks.
