Brach's Party Time Assorted Hard Candy Mix, 3 Lb Bulk Bag Individually Wrapped

I am not too much a candy person but sometimes yes I will have candy. Also I like to give them some out for gifts like goodie bags. Did not give it 5 stars because the bag I got 2 of them wraps were open. So did not check all yet and sometimes things happen its not an excuse but so far happy with item

Brach's party mix is great! Fairly good mixture of flavors. Some of the flavors weren't strong or didn't last long enough but that could just be our taste preference. Little hard to tell differences between lemon and butterscotch and the various red pieces. Other than that it was a good value for the money. The expiration date was also far enough away that it wouldn't go stale any time soon. The product was delivered properly protected/packaged and within the time promised.

What can be said about hard candy? Each piece was hard and most every piece only stuck a little to the wrapper. That's a solid 4 in my book

Wow. A huge bag of hard candy. And...I got exactly what it said I was going to get. I didn't pour out all the contents of the bag & count how many I got of this or that one, I don't have the patience to do that, but I can see there's a good variety of all kinds.

Too many mint candies and cinnamon candies. Expected more fruit flavored candies in the mix. Those cinnamon candies burned the inside of my mouth, couldn't leave them in my mouth for more than a minute or two before I had to spit them out because they were so hot. Maybe this mix was a combination of the flavors that were poor sellers and they wanted to get rid of them. Don't like to be cheated!

I like Brach's candy, but this assortment is actually not much of an assortment. At least the bag I had rates as an unbalanced assortment. The peppermint is about 50 percent of the assortment, with the spearmint nearing 40 percent. That leaves just 10 percent for the other flavors, and about half of that is the red, very tangy cinnamon flavor. Unfortunately the cinnamon is too strong for my palate.As usual, Brach's candies are good tasting, but for this purchase, that is about all I can give it.
