Bill Lewis Lures Rat-L-Trap Lures 1/2-Ounce Trap (Sexy Chrome)

Have used Rat-L-Traps since they first came out. One of the best fish attract'ers ever created and is quite versatile. This one is saltwater grade and is headed to the Gulf (inshore) for specs and reds and whatever else that want's to bite. Might be using a short wire leader with it, too, just in case. We'll see. Will up date this review after the trip.

Great lure. After heavy use over several seasons the paint does start to chip away at the sides. Regardless of regular "wear & tear", this lure still catches fish. Worth the money.

Took this thing out in cold water during late winter into early spring and it was one of the few things getting the bass to bite. Really happy with the lure and will be picking up a few more colors to keep fishing these all year.

Works well ( good rattle sound & motion when using the lure). Casts far on my rod & reel setup. Comes with hooks (don't know why the picture shows without them??). Didn't catch anything using it 1 day but it was a bad fishing day if there is such a thing. Will keep it in the arsenal for a later use.

this caught the most fish on a recent float down the river. but it also has very sharp hooks cause it popped my float tube. I was stuick on a branch a little tug and it came back like a bullet hitting my float. lol

Looks like it was run over by multiple cars after waiting for 3 weeks... this is a little ridiculous... also received 2 different generations... just don't buy... the lure itself is great if not run over by a car but this seller is terrible

A do it all lure that can be thrown in almost every situation whether you are fishing deep, shallow, in cover, or in open water. Caught lots of bass, walleye and pike grinding along rocks and cover in the spring. AMAZING treble hooks on this thing that are better than 99% of hooks you can buy. Awesome price and a good lure for many situations!
