Quality and Price
I liked the product alot! There were other applications. My engine was a 40 hp Mercury Mariner Tracker @ 20 years old. The trim came tilt motor came with 3 shaft lengths for other applications. Mine used the shortest one. The kit came with 4 hex screws to attach the motor to the base. I reused my old base bolts because I didn't have a female hex adapter. Room was tight between the tilt motor and back of the boat. A 10 in extension with my socket worked. The kit had the hex keys but I couldn't use them because of space. Everything fit good, the mtor was of good quality, the wiring was adequately protected and long enough to connect back into the original wiring, no leaks (the motor has a O ring at its base, it was supplied with the kit). I give this product 5 stars!

Great price compared to Mercury OEM version
Installed and working fine on my 1994 Mercury 40hp 4 cylinder outboard. Just hoping it holds up for a while.

Loud
It works great and was fairly easy to install! It's just very loud for a trim motor and it didn't come with the allen wrench for the mount screws! It's also not as fast as I was hoping for! Overall great product just some certain downsides!
