This pool shut off value works perfectly! One of the units did leak a bit when I first install it right under the shut off knob. I simply twisted it tight by hand (I'm a petite lady, if I can hand tighten it tenough you definitely can, too) and no more leaks! Best part, I no longer have to lift the filter pump above the inlet/outlet holes to switch the filters out, I just twist the values shut!

I’ve purchased several of these and really appreciate their quality and function. I like the fact that I can keep water from going into the pump or out of the filter so I can make adjustments or replace items. Have used these on several of my Upground pools over the years and have been nothing but pleased.

I’ve used these in the past for my own pool. Just make sure all seals are snug and they work great. Used these to up grade my friends Summer waves pool as the original filter is crap. It just took a few parts from Home Depot and a replacement cap from Amazon, and a Intex sand filter and bam awesome filtration. Now the outtake requires a sharpie to trace the inner part and an X-Acto knife to carefully cut the hole bigger, but go slow and look on YouTube if you need more instructions. The part is great as you can turn off the flow of water to do any filter maintenance. Love love love them great product.

We have a used Coleman Power Steel that we bought this year, and the old valve was leaking. Bought this as a replacement and it works fine with no leaks. At first hook-up it did leak from the same area as the old valve, so I had to tighten the ring on it and when I did, the leaking stopped. Unsure of durability, but for the first 24 hrs, it fit and works great. I don't see any issue with it at this time. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase again at this great price, and this valve is a better design than the older valve that we had.

There are a few options for plunger valves. These have worked better than the dial style. They are easy to turn, and seem to do better in colder weather for us. The dial style seems to leak, where these haven’t leaked yet. (We have had them for 2 years.)
