Attempts to give you a custom look!
The 2 long main pieces did fit in my kitchen drawer nicely. They both have a strip of foam on each end. There a three to four pictured placement choices to choose from on the box. The design could be worked on more. I love the groves on the 2 main long pieces which allows the smaller pieces to lock in place. However, depending on the design placement, the groves also needed to be on both sides of the longer pieces to better secure the smaller pieces. I have children and no matter how many times you tell them not to overstuff a drawer with items or not to push too hard, they do it anyway. In the case of these dividers depending on how you place them in the drawer, the shorter ones that are not secured on both ends whether its to the drawer or main plastic piece can snap and break in half. My children suggested going to the craft store to buy foam with the thickness I need. Then glue the foam to the ends of the shorter pieces that are not secured in the groves of the longer pieces to help pick up the slack. This is exactly what the manufacturers of this product did to the ends of the 2 longer pieces. And if I wanted an even tighter fit I can do the same process for the 2 longer pieces by adding additional foam to their existing foam or ripping it off and simply adding a thicker foam strip from the craft store. I hope this wasn't too confusing. But the problem can be solvable. Think wherever there is too much movement and space, fill it in with foam. Finally, I didn't like the color. I wish more options were included. I try not to do anything in white or cream it tends to stain and look yucky overtime. I will be spray painting it brown or green.

Wasn't usable
I measured my drawers and they should have been acceptable for use but these dividers do not easily "contract". The spring seems not only rough, but also like it could pop-out and made me weary of trying to push harder. In the end I couldn't use them so I returned them and had no issues with the return.I would recommend these for someone on the larger sized drawers.

like 2, 4
JUST what I needed for my NARROW kitchen drawers! My drawers are only about 7 inches wide, and all the conventional silverware "organizers" of wood, plastic, or whatever material NEVER fit that odd dimension. The standard drawer organizer is ALWAYS an even dimension, like 2, 4, 6 inches across, and that doesn't work for a 7 inch space! These babies you can place where you like WITHIN the space of your drawer! So, I now have a 7 inch drawer split into thirds, and it's WONDERFUL! I've gone for 2 years having a messy silverware drawer because I couldn't find something that did the trick! The suffering is over!Downside: The length of my drawers is just about at the MINIMUM length of these dividers, so it's hard to contract/expand the wood to "squeeze" them into the drawer itself. Didn't want to apply too much pressure, either, and risk cracking the wood. And, once you compress the wood "springs" inwards, in order to place them in the drawer, they "pop out" REALLY FAST, so this is almost a 2-person job! So, be warned, once you put em where you want em, they'll be hard to move and re-position! Measure beforehand!

Obviously there are enough of us out there that someone was smart enough to come up with a solution
The infamous junk drawer. Obviously there are enough of us out there that someone was smart enough to come up with a solution. This junk Axis Junk drawer Organizers did the trick, especially with the expandable 2 slots. At first, the smaller compartments were a bit annoying because I'd have an object that was just a tiny bit larger than the space provided. However, by the time I was done emptying every last bit of the drawer (and throwing things out I didn't need), each compartment was filled. Now I open the drawer and feel a little more organized than I did prior to tackling this project.. Definitely worth the investment if you like to have your home organized through and through. I would have given it 5 stars if one of the rows had two larger slots than all three rows with the smaller slots. However, there's room in front of the organizer for a few of those larger items that wouldn't fit in those smaller compartments so all in all it works great!

very strong springs and very tight stationary dividers
Measured carefully and according to the dimensions, I was right on. But, because I needed to compress the dividers to the smaller dimensions to fit, that night, while we were sleeping, we heard this loud 'pop' that set off the dogs and scared the bejeesus out of my husband and I.It was the divider popping open and taking the back of the drawer out w/it. These were brand new cabinets/drawers and not cheap. The spring loading in the dividers is so strong and I don't think it's safe to use at the smaller dimensions indicated. The pressure is significant. If you need something that is closer to biggest size, they're probably okay. Big, clunky things; but better than skinny, cheap things. The 'feet' where the dividers sit up against the drawer are fairly wide to avoid 'bending free' but I would also recommend, AFTER you've determined your keeping, to put double sided thick tape on the feet so it will stay secure in drawer. As for the small, stationary dividers, some had to be hammered in w/a mallet, and then hammered back out after it exploded. Some slid in easily. We don't expect high precision fit w/these things, just so you know you'll need a rubber mallet for put assembly.

Love this. Finally organized my sock drawer
I love this. My socks and panties drawer was a mess! I can now see where everything is. You insert the divider in the drawer and it adjusts to size. It smells beautiful too. My friend suggested when the smell dissipates, you can sand it to get the cedar smell back. Great purchase. I wish it came with a few more, I see some other sellers offer 4 dividers. It would be great for organizing kitchen utensils too.

Gets the job done but some wasted space as a result
Choose from three size options for length but no extra dividers. No sizing options for width. Gets the job done but some wasted space as a result.
