I was hesitant to buy this product first. There’s no reviews or anything, but I took the chance considering the price as well as the features. This has no Wi-Fi connection, which was ideal for me has a keyhole, fingerprint, numeric passcode, and even an option to generate a one time code. Set up was insanely simple, and I am not a very handy person, all I used was a screwdriver. This is my first day using this lock so I can’t say so much but I will continue to update if any problems arise. So far 5/5 stars 🌟

This is an awesome product. I live by myself and I need all the extra protection that I can get. I feel like this is a perfect solution. Assembly is easy, no drilling needed, you can do it in a few minutes with just a screwdriver. It also has a voice guide to help you get everything set up so you don’t need a instruction book. It’s so simple to use, you can get in your home with just a touch of your finger. There’s also codes you can use for yourself and your family. It also automatically locks the door when you leave so you don’t have to worry about a break-in if you forget to do it. Another great thing about this is it has a battery life of one year and it only uses 5 AA alkaline batteries. It has so many great safety features that definitely gives me a peace of mind. I feel protected when I’m at home and when I’m away from home. If you’re looking for a great working affordable way to protect yourself and your home, I highly recommend you check out the smart lock.I sleep better at night knowing that I have this on my door.

Overall I really do like this lock. With kids in the house it's a great alternative to hiding keys under rocks. Since our kids are all iPad users they are also fully comfortable with using their fingerprints to access stuff. Win/win. As someone else mentioned in a review, I received a lock that had a flaw in the mounting plate. I had to drill a slot bigger to allow the cable to pass through. Not a big deal but this thing would literally be a 25 minute project were it not for that issue. It's a bit of a bummer to have to butcher up a brand new unit but there's no way I was going to wait for them to send a new plate. Done and done. I see there are versions of this lock that are keypad only, this version I would avoid. Waking up the keypad is not consistent. It takes some gymnastics of the hand to get the thing to come alive. The fingerprint scanner, on the other hand, is flawless. Touch and open - all set. A great lock from a reputable brand name with just a couple flaws. Overall I'm pleased with the investment.

Overall it's a great lock however the fingerprint reader is not the best. It's very picky and often doesn't work requiring you to enter the PIN.

This is a great standalone smart lock. By standalone, I mean that it’s not wifi or Bluetooth. It’s not going to magically unlock when your cell phone is in range, nor can you unlock it remotely through an app. But for standalone use, it’s as good as I’ve seen. First, it’s easier to install than the leading competitor. It takes a Phillips screwdriver and less than ten minutes of not at all tricky work. That’s a pleasant change from the juggling and balancing required to install the push button locks I normally buy. Once installed, configuration is a breeze. We set up a PIN code, and did fingerprints for everyone in the family. The code will almost never be used. We also set up the 3 minute auto lock, giving us enough time to take out the trash, but eliminating the need to manually lock when leaving. I only have two gripes, one of them insignificant, the other a bit more important but probably not solvable. First, they include information on loading the app and configuring it for your lock. That’s great, and easy to do, but the app does literally nothing with this lock, so why load it? My more significant gripe is that the only way to delete a single fingerprint requires that person to press a print. If you kick somebody out and want to delete them, that’s not an option. The only alternative is to reset the lock and start from scratch. It’s not a big deal, but it’s a little annoying. Aside from that, I love this lock. It has a more modern interface including voice prompts, a cool appearance, and more smarts than the older competitor I’ve been using. It’s a very nice upgrade.
