Can multiple receivers be added

Yes they can, but have to be programmed in to the bell push. The process is very easy and takes about 30 seconds for each receiver. I have two sets linked together so that the bell can be heard in different parts of the house.

How much electricity does the receiver use thinking of codt

Very little power. No Wattage. It’s not worth worrying about. Google the question for an answer.

Is the signal strong enough to pass through a couple of solid walls.

Hi. It doesn’t use WiFi or Bluetooth. Mine works fine in two receiver positions that are not line of sight but not with two solid walls between them and the transmitter. I therefore assume it uses some form of RF that doesn’t require physical line of sight. So I think you will be OK.
