Perfect fit and these stay up all day.
These are the most comfortable and effective support stockings I have found. I'm 5'9" tall with size 8 feet and bought the extra large size. Very pleased with them, they wash well and dry overnight.*Update* - once swelling under control, I downsized to Large, and now find this the most comfortable size.I have tried a few different makes before and none of the others stayed in place, I was constantly trying to pull them back up. If you have ever experienced the painful strangulation that occurs when compression stockings slide down and gather round your ankle, you'll understand the relief in finding a pair that do actually stay in place and compress effectively. I can wear the Activa ones all day without needing to adjust them. The top cuff is really strong (the reason that these do stay up) and I have found that if there is excess material under the knee the cuff can roll down, which can be uncomfortable - so I am careful not to pull them too high up so that the cuff sits nice and flat. As class 2, the compression is quite strong and they are tight to get over your heel, but this is to be expected and once on they are really effective. I have really happy ankles.

Good compression and comfortable
The compression is good, but the colour is a bit dark for my pale skin. Wearing under trousers isn't an issue. Wish there were some that had more "natural" fabrics in like cotton or wool, but still with good compression, as nylon is cold in the winter (need to wear wool socks on top for warmth). And it would be great if they had some designs in them so it wasn't obvious you were wearing "old folks" compression socks. Surely it's not beyond the wit of a designer to come up with some funky patterns and colours?

Excellent foot and lower leg support.
I need to use compression socks as advised by my surgery. I was prescribed some and they work fine but they have closed toes which, for me, are fine on occasions but I find they get uncomfortable after hours of use. I have some open toed support hose but it’s got a little ‘tired’.I’m pleasantly surprised with these. They are light and comfortable, they look tiny but fit perfectly.

The best support socks available!
Activa support socks are by far the best, and I’ve tried quite a few over the years! Activa ones are cool and comfortable and very soft. They fit well and wash really well, I always wash by hand. The toeless ones are great for the summer and work well for me. I have intermittent swelling of my right leg due to thrombosis years ago. These support socks really help with swelling and pain.

I prefer open toes
The open toes allows it to fit better.

Arrived quickly, just what I ordered
My doctor said I needed a support sock for phlebitis and prescribed me a pair. When I collected them from the chemist they turned out to be Activa Class 2 stockings. So I ordered myself a pair of Activa Class 2 socks from Amazon. They arrived in the post next day, are both easier to put on and more comfortable than the stockings, especially in this heat. As I have no varicose vein problems above my knee they suit me fine.
