it’s a couple pieces of metal meant for scraping biofilm off your tongue. the smaller one hurts a bit if you press too hard, but they’re both super easy to use and good quality metal.

I received the dosmetics tongue scraper and was intrigued to give the scrapers a try and see if they work. This kit comes with two very different devices for the same purpose. The first is like a spoon with the middle cut out and the second is a U shaped tool with the curved portion as the scraper. The U tool feels pretty sturdy, but the spoon feels a bit flimsy; however, it has plenty of strength to scrape a tongue.My first test was the spoon tool which did scrape my tongue causing a lot of saliva to get pulled to the front of my mouth -- it was a bit strange. While the scraping certainly didn't hurt, it didn't seem to really be doing anything.My second test was the U tool which covered the width of my tongue better and did not seem to drag a pile of saliva forward, but I still didn't see any real accomplishment from the scraping.There is nothing wrong with the tool or its construction, but this is an item I just am not sure I understand the true value. For me, I am not seeing a lot of value in this and that is the reason for my rating. If you are looking for a tongue scraper, these stainless tools certainly will work. I don't think I would get this again.
