The pencil is not pointy

Easily the best long point sharpener!
A product that lives up to the hype: long pencil points have long been beloved by architects artists etc as it saves them the time and effort of constantly resharpening pencil leads. This product (I’ve had it for around 2 months) seems sturdy, the method of sharpening is very simple and there are options for reducing the lead exposure- better for softer leads like colour or charcoal based pencils. The wood shavings are collected neatly in the base of the sharpener, easy to open up and clean everything. I’ve sharpened a lot of pencils with this product, yet despite the almost insane exposed lead lengths, yet to have one break on me. Buy without hesitation. Note that it has a lot of plastic components so I don’t expect it to last forever but products that have that long life assurance don’t have this level of performance. And I go for performance everytime.

Ou o modo de ponta mais grossa está estragado, ou ele é bem sutil. Outra coisa, não espere o mecanismo travar pois ele irá "comer"o lápis. Fora isso, dá até pena de usar o lápis pois as pontas ficam lindas!!!!

Great Pencil Sharpener for Artists
I have been a professional illustrator for 50 years. I do a lot of artwork and this pencil sharpener is everything it promises. The sharpener stops automatically when the pencil is sharp. It has two settings for sharp point, or a sligly rounded point. It strips enough of the wood away from the lead to create a nice, long point that is better for sketching. It is perfect for color pencils, charcoal pencils, watercolor pencils, etc. I have a couple pencils that are thicker than usual, and this sharpener has no problem fitting the sharpener.

Great or really sharp pencils
Love, love, love this pencil sharpener. I could never get a nice sharp point on my colored pencils for fine lines and details. This sharpener is amazing! I’m sharpening every pencil I can get my hands on now. It’s different from regular pencil sharpeners because it allows you to get a nice,long, but still strong, tip.
