Perfect Curly Hair Product!
I have been using this product for a couple of years, after learning about The Curly Girl Method, for cleansing and caring for my naturally curly hair. I have a loose spiraling curl, and finally know how to handle it. This product is perfect in every way. I use it with Too Shea conditioner, which I also use as a leave in, and follow with Spiralicious, the perfect finishing touch prior to air drying! Check out the Website for great instructions on identifying your perfect product combo and great videos on how to wash, plonk (yes, that'a a thing) and care for all types of Curly Hair!

Great for dry, curly hair
I have very thick, coarse, 2B, low porosity, dry, curly hair. This works well for me and does not dry my hair out. This has been my HG for a few years now. I also love that it is truly unscented. This cleanser is in between shampoo and co-washing. It makes very little lather and I use a lot of it.... so if you have fine hair, it may be too heavy for you. Their Gentle Lather shampoo is more sudsy than this and removes more oils from the hair... it would be a better option for fine hair or people who have oily hair. I use this along w the Too Shea conditioner, and the Aloeba conditioner, which I use as a daily leave in ...combined with their Spiralicious Gel.

The Smell of Amazon Warehouse Mistakes and Disappointment
All of Jessicurl’s products are awesome. I hate to give this product a bad review, but I’ve had a horrible and long lasting experience because Amazon messed up my latest order in multiple ways and repeatedly. Sorry for this, Jess, it’s not your fault. The listing clearly says Jessicurl Citrus Lavender Cleansing Cream. This is my usual product. When my giant $50 bottle of Cleansing Cream finally arrived (two days late) it was Island Fantasy scent. I use several items from this line as part of my regular routine and I always buy the Citrus Lavender. Citrus Lavender smells amazing and this detail is important to me. When I use Citrus Lavender Cleaning Cream, Citrus Lavender Too Shea Conditioner, Citrus Lavender Rockin’ Ringlets, and Citrus Lavender Oil Blend to scrunch my crunch the amazing scent of Citrus Lavender layers in my hair (without build up, mind) and it makes me feel amazing and happy.I contacted Amazon and they said it was a fulfillment mistake and so they offered to exchange the item. Several days later (again late) another giant bottle of Jessicurl Cleansing Cream arrived and again it was Island Fantasy scented. At this point it had been over a week since the first bottle was supposed to get here and I really need to have a wash. So I decided to keep the Island Fantasy because I really just wanted to wash my hair. I do not care for the way it smells. In fact, Island Fantasy is now the smell of Amazon warehouse mistakes and disappointing packages arriving late in the mail.So I am now stuck with a $50 bottle of shampoo (lowpoo, whatever) that will last me for 6+ months which smells like Amazon warehouse mistakes and disappointing packages. My curls are happy, but I am not. Every 5 days when I have a wash day my whole bathroom smells of warehouse mistakes and I’m reminded of my disappointing experience. Evidently we have the right to remain curly, but we do not have the right to chose the scent we prefer unless we order directly from Jessicurl. Which is what I recommend, along with the Citrus Lavender scent.

decent results, low quality shipping, scent is awful
It's "unscented" but it still has a scent, might be worse than the ones with added scents, at least they smell good. Also showed up not properly sealed so some of it leaked out.
