Lovely brushes, but may not be your preference
Putting aside the fact the packaging looks like something out of Ann Summers, these brushes are lovely.They don't smell bad (quite often make-up brushes, especially synthetic ones, smell awful when first taken out of the box and need washing and airing before use), and the slightly soft grip is nice on the hands. The bristles are firmly held in place. There are no loose or stray bristles, and no sign that any will work loose in the short term. Helpfully, the brushes have their purpose printed on their handles.The packaging does include a nice diagram of how to use the brushes. But getting the brushes out of the packaging is a pain, involving lots of ripping and tugging.The downside for me, and this is entirely personal choice, is the bristle length and volume. For me, the eyeshadow brush bristles are far too fluffy for defined eyeshadow application. The foundation brush bristles are too long, again losing definition, and the buffing brush bristles are too short and compact - I find longer and wider more effective.

These make-up brushes apparently use 'Fiberluxe technology' for superior pigment pick-up and optimal release. Can't say that means much to me. Let's break it down:Pros:1)Love the image on the back of the box which explains how to use each brush.2)Each brush has its name on it, i.e 'buffing brush'3)The bristles are very soft and apply the make-up/foundation wellCons1) Personally I prefer to pile on the foundation so I'd like a bigger foundation brush. I ended up using my hand to help the brush along. That said, the buffing brush is also great rubbing it all in.2) The packaging was abit of a let down. You have to prize each brush out of the box, head first. I'd much prefer if it the box opened up on the side.Overall, not bad at all.

Wonderfully soft bristles!
For the price you receive 4 make-up brushes for less than £4 each which is really good value for good quality make-up brushes.The packaging looks very professional and elegant, they would make a good gift.You receive a foundation brush, buffing brush, contour brush (contouring is very 'in' at the moment) and an eyeshadow brush.The bristles on the brushes are extremely soft, they feel lovely! The brushes use a 'FiberLuxeTM Technology' - whatever it is, it makes these bristles feel luxurious and its lovely to use them to apply powders on my face.One important thing of note is that the bristles don't shed. I've had brushes in the past from other good brands where the bristles fall off even with light use, so I'm glad that's not the case with these.

Love them
The 4 brushes in this set (foundation; buffing; contouring and eyeshadow) are extremely soft synthetic fibres. The foundation brush has replaced my current one because it works with my liquid foundation like a dream. It's easy to apply and having both a tapered and flat end it's great for buffing out.If you are a beginner to using make up brushes there is a helpful guide on the back which will help you to achieve the best finish.These have a soft handle and are comfortable to use.I have tried these for a week now and there has been no stray fibres and gentle washing brings them back to new.

Brilliant brilliant brushes
These are brilliant make-up brushes, I am so pleased with them.The bristles are so soft, feel almost like silk. They make applying my make up really easy as they just glide evenly over my skin. The handles are comfortable and feel really high quality.They also do not seem to lose their bristles, which is a big plus for me.Really great product that is brilliant value for money.

High Quality Brushes
High quality brushes that are a dream to use. My favourite is the foundation brush. I've always previously applied foundation with my fingers but this brush makes it go on so noticeably smoother and the effect is well worth the extra couple of minutes that it takes.Foundation brush - It says to apply a generous amount of foundation but I find that applying a little less than normal gives a better result. It takes longer to apply than applying with my fingers but the result is much better (takes me perhaps one and half minutes whereas fingers take a few seconds.Eyeshadow brush - Perfectly shaped and the shadow goes on smoothly just where you want itBuffing brush - I use this for powder over my foundation and it's very nice. I usually use pressed powder so the sponge that comes with the powder is quicker but applying with the brush just feels more indulgent. The result is good either way.Contour brush - I use this for blusher and it's okay. It's cut in a slight wedge shape but for me personally the colour goes on a bit thick. I prefer my old brush for blusher (less wedge shaped with a smaller and oval shaped head)The quality of the brushes is extremely good. I lost two hairs from the foundation brush the first time I used it. After that no hairs lost. They're easy to clean too. Just swish them around in a cup containing water and a bit of shampoo and even the foundation brush cleans itself quite nicely.Highly recommended set.
