J-Tech Digital 4x1 HDMI Multi-Viewer & Seamless Switcher 4K 60Hz | 4 in 1 Out w/ 8 Display Modes, Audio Extract, OSD, Quad Viewing [JTECH-MV41A]

I bought this to manage multiple HDMI sources on a single display, and overall I'm very happy with it. The picture quality is excellent. I was concerned that running everything through a multi-viewer might degrade the image, but the video remains crisp, bright, and sharp. It has handled everything I've connected without any noticeable loss in quality. One of my favorite features is the number of display layouts available. Being able to switch between full-screen, picture-in-picture, split-screen, and the other multi-view configurations makes it extremely versatile. It's great for monitoring multiple sources or quickly changing how everything is displayed depending on what I'm doing. The only downside I've found is the remote control. It requires a pretty direct line of sight, and you have to be fairly close to the unit for it to reliably register button presses. Once you know that limitation it's manageable, but I do wish the IR receiver was more sensitive or that it came with an RF or Bluetooth remote. Other than that, the unit has worked exactly as expected. Setup was straightforward, the switching is smooth, and it's been reliable in daily use. If you're looking for a quality HDMI multi-viewer with lots of display options, I'd definitely recommend this one.

This 4 way HDMI device does not output true 4K resolution the image is always skewed on all resolutions (see the black border on side is larger than the black border on bottom/top) and no amount of adjustments will fix this. Going to return after I find something better. Don’t waste your money.

So far I like this box a lot, it takes in various HDMI sources and outputs 4k/60hz as well as lesser resolutions if you want. 4 1080p or 4k inputs look great in the split modes output at 4k. You can also pick the audio and it has aux audio out to run the variable audio to an amp or avr. The aux audio has a volume level control which is huge. I am also using 1:4 Jtech splitters going into this unit without any trouble (and splitting the output), where I want to send a signal both to this box and other displays. This is useful to be able to show sources 2-4 full size on another display while you’re using this box to show 4 sources, because the display modes are a bit fixed… you can’t for example show source 2 as the big portion with sources 1, 3, and 4 as the small side screens. Some other passive 2 in 1 out splitters into this didn’t play well, so my .02 if you’re going to work with a bunch of splitters in or out use the 4k jtech splitters or powered 4k switches. My only real issue is the remote isn’t great and it’s critical to run the box. So I bought a couple cheap all-button learning remotes and are using them, keeping the original safe. They work and feel better, and I was able to program in power buttons for all my displays.

Stopped working after 6 months. Video distortion, then nothing. I power cycled. It still shows video, but distorted. Bottom quadrant. Otherwise I can view 4 streams at once. You just get a bar at the bottom of the screen. And then, you get nothing.

I like it!!!! it works finally a multiview switch with aspect ratio butt!!!! The switching isn't seamless it needs to have presets on a specific way you want your dual screen... audio switching needs to be easier i dont want to have to go to menu settings every time and the control feels cheaply made for $200 bucks this needs to be flawless

Works just as intended. Added 4 Roku’s and control all of them on my phone app. Customizing screens is easy, more than enough options, and nice to be able to switch sound from any inputs with the touch of a button.

Does not connect to computer, the mac app is outdated and not serviceable. Customer service form on website is a loop back to the main page with no responses. Will delete this review if fixed.
