I use this with the built in helmet lock on my ninja 250 to make it easier to attach the helmet and sometimes jacket sleeve (yes it will fit through both). It's small, quick and easy but probably would not be difficult to cut with decent wire cutters or perhaps even scissors.

I got this to go along with a helmet lock and I love it. Its stretches out far enough to run through a jacket sleeve, and it coils right back up even after sitting out in the desert heat. Its not a thick cable, but definitely looks heavy enough to deter an opportunistic thief. Glad I got it!

I have ordered one of these before and this is exactly what I expected. Very good quality and serves the purpose for securing more than just my helmet.

I don't think this wil protect you helmet from being stolen. It seems that it is 3mm thick with the clear plastic covering. The actual wire seems like 2mm thick and it seems that you can cut them with plyers. I haven't used it once since I bought it because I don't think I will find my helmet with my bike when I come back. I would not recommed this product.

It's REALLY thin. I tried to cut it with scissors (it looks like that might be all it takes) but it survived. I suspect wire cutters would do the trickIf I was still in Reno, NV this might be something that would deter someone from walking off with my helmet and/or jacket; but, I live in San Francisco now and I doubt it would take much to cut through this. I think I'd trust my helmets with this thing, but not my jacket

Pratical. Just add a locker to lock things (helmet, GoPro, jacket, etc) to your vehicle. I use it to lock my helmet when I stop my HD near by some place to drink or just rest, and my things are on my sight, but not on my hands.Not for use as a safety, or to leave your expensive helmet attached on a no name little street, all night long.
