nice-looking watch, stainless-steel band is the best feature very comfortable because there is no buckle only magnet strap outside the wrist. small watches (34mm-39mm) minimalist is the trend now.update i downgrade from 5 stars to one because it is not reliable. i used it to go to work or walk and it started to run slow. it lost 7 minutes a day which is unacceptable even for a new watch. i have 8 Japanese brand watches each one cost around $100 (and i think they are all made in china too) its accurate and reliable right out of the box and i used these watches for years s. this watch company needed serious QC for the watch that cost $50 more than entry-level Japanese watches. and by the way, i don't appreciate the movement retainer that is made of plastic. (Image from the german reviewer)3 rd updatei tried to find out about it previous issue. so, i put it on the bench time setting with my cell phone and full wound up every day for 28 days. it is 105 seconds slower than cell phone time. slower average of 3.75 seconds a day that amazing. i think i can use it as a wind-up watch and it should deserve 4 stars. but after 10 more days, it became 4 minutes slow a day again so it goes back to 1 star. but to be honest i like the watch appearence so much ( pretty) i gave it 3 stars.

Great watch for the price. Wears smaller that expected. A nice alternative to the more expensive Nomos, not at the same level but has a great finish on the case and it feels well constructed. The movement is not the best, but it kept good time.

An automatic watch for about $150 (& even cheaper as a Prime Day purchase) certainly raised my eyebrow. Based on the mostly positive reviews though, and PD deal, I figured it was worth a chance. Others have already commented on the look and feel, as well as the resemblance to a much higher priced model - I would agree, and note the pictures are accurate.I wound the watch when I received it and wore it for a full day (about 10 hours). I then put it down to see what type of power reserve it had. The watch continued ticking for approx. 34 hours which I find to be pretty great at this price point (and better than some of my more expensive automatics). I will run additional power reserve tests to confirm if that is normal.I would also note that the strap, while not the best leather you will ever hold, is still nice, and incredibly functional for someone with a narrow wrist (mine is just over 6" in diameter), but would also work for someone with a much thicker wrist. For those who might believe the 34mm width is too small, the square case makes it seem much bigger than a round 34mm case. Lastly, I like the peek-a-boo window on the back of the case that lets you see the movement (partially) in action. I highly recommend!

Like the shape n thickness n it's automatic n the distinctive wristband. Wish having full calendar n phosphorus glow at night on all numbers.

Love the way it looks and that the style is very sleek, minimalist, different to other watches…. The magnetic strap makes it very easy to put on / take off. Love that the hand that marks the seconds is blue.

Es wird ja viel gestritten über chinesische Kopien von Luxusuhren, einige sprechen von Fälschungen bzw. Fakes, andere bezeichnen diese Uhren etwas liebevoller als Hommage. Fakt ist, dass es diese Uhr im Original so nicht gibt. Das Vorbild ist zwar eindeutig zu erkennen, aber die Kombination aus Zifferblatt, Gehäusegröße und Automatikwerk ist einmalig, für mich also ganz klar eine Hommage. Aber was ist von einer Uhr zu erwarten, die nicht viel mehr kostet, als das Armband des Originals? Erstaunlich viel, wie ich festgestellt habe. Das fängt schon bei der Auswahl der Materialien an. Das Gehäuse besteht komplett aus Edelstahl, nicht aus verchromtem Messing. Kratzer lassen sich also gut wegpolieren, ohne dass das Trägermaterial durchscheint. Das Deckglas besteht aus künstlichem Saphir und ist somit äußerst resistent gegen Kratzer. Das Glas ist übrigens wunderbar bündig in das Gehäuse eingelassen. Und selbst das Armband, bei dem sonst gerne gespart oder gar gemogelt wird ("Genuine Leather" Prägung auf Plastikband) ist qualitativ völlig in Ordnung. Es ist schön weich und riecht nicht unangenehm, so wie ich es schon oft erlebt habe.Die Schließe des Armbands ist teils mattiert, teils poliert und greift von der Form her das eckige Design des Uhrengehäuses auf - passt! Nettes Detail: Die Federstege haben einen Schnellverschluss, so dass man das Armband ohne Werkzeug abnehmen kann, um die Uhr mal an den schwer zugänglichen Stellen zu reinigen. Soweit zu den äußeren Werten. Doch was ist mit den inneren Werten, vor allem mit dem Uhrwerk? Im Innerern tickt ein Seagull ST17 Automatikwerk. Seagull ist der größte chinesische Hersteller von mechanischen Uhrwerken und wahrscheinlich inzwischen sogar der Größte weltweit. Das Kaliber ST17 vereint die Konstruktionsmerkmale von zwei japanischen Herstellern: Das Uhrwerk selbst ist von Citizen inspiriert, das Automatikmodul verwendet den für Seiko typischen Exzenter mit dem "Magic Lever". Die Chinesen haben also das Beste aus zwei Welten zusammengefügt und herausgekommen ist ein zuverlässiges Werk mit einer wirklich sehr effektiv arbeitenden Automatik. Ich bin weiss Gott kein sportlicher Typ, aber es ist mir noch nie passiert, dass eine Uhr mit diesem Werk wegen mangelnder Gangreserve stehen geblieben wäre. Wenn die Uhr aber dennoch zu lange unbewegt gelegen hat, läßt sie sich mit der griffigen Krone auch von Hand aufziehen. Und das läuft meiner Meinung nach geschmeidiger als bei DEM Automatikwerk aus der Schweiz, dem ETA 2824-2. Das Werk ist auch ganz hübsch (maschinell) dekoriert und das kleine Sichtfenster am Boden der Uhr gibt den Blick auf die schwingende Unruh frei. Der einzige Wermutstropfen ist für mich der fehlende Sekundenstop. Der Vergleich zu einem Manufakturwerk aus Glashütte währe unangebracht, aber den Vergleich mit einem japanischen Werk muss das ST17 nicht scheuen. Auch auf der Zeitwaage macht die Uhr keine schlechte Figur, wie man auf meinem Foto erkennen kann. Im täglichen Gebrauch habe ich keinen nennenswerten Vor- oder Nachgang feststellen können.Noch ein paar Worte zum Zifferblatt und den Zeigern: Der Druck auf dem Blatt ist sauber, die Ablesbarkeit hervorragend, auch wenn das Saphirglas nicht entspiegelt ist. Die Zeiger sind natürlich nicht hitzegebläut, aber die Lackierung kommt der Sache schon sehr nahe. Und es ist immer wieder eine Freude zu sehen, wie geschmeidig sich der kleine Sekundenzeiger über das Hilfszifferblatt bewegt, fließend, wie die Zeit selbst und nicht in zerhackten Zeitsprüngen, wie bei einer Quartzuhr.Zum Schluss noch ein paar Worte zur Wirkung der Uhr am Handgelenk. Denn vor dem Kauf ging mir der Gedanke durch den Kopf: 34mm ist ja nicht gerade riesig. Bei einer runden Uhr wäre das auch so, aber in der Diagonalen hat die quadratische Uhr fast 48mm und wirkt damit am Handgelenk erheblich größer als auf dem Papier. Mit nur 10mm Dicke trägt die Uhr auch nicht zu sehr auf und passt bequem unter die Manschette.Fazit: Die Uhr ist für den Preis sehr gut verarbeitet, das Werk ist nach meiner Erfahrung robust und zuverlässig, die Materialien sind wertig und das Design ist einfach umwerfend. Wer also gerade keine 3000€ für das Original übrig hat, findet hier eine Alternative mit einem hervorragenden Preis- / Leistungsverhältnis!

Lovely elegant watch , bought it as a present to my hobby for our 15 years anniversary. Very sophisticated square look , with elegant black leather strap.My husband wear it to a wedding and everybody noticed the watch in a pleasant way .Very expensive look , comes in a beautiful box inside with a protective pillow .I definitely recommend as a present and on my husband behalf who wear it that is definitely worth it.I was also impressed there are 3 colours version for it gives you the option to choose . I bought black as you can wear it with almost everything but I might consider to buy the brown one as well in future .

I know it's automatic & needs winding but if you're a casual wearer of watches like me 10 seconds setting the time is no deal breaker. Looks different.
