Carista OBD - Bluetooth OBD2 Scanner - Car Scanner Diagnostic Tool and Code Reader with Access to Diagnostics, Customizations, Service Tools, and Live Data - Subscription Required

Got this for my 2025 Tacoma and was able to shut off the annoying (AF) seat belt chimes and adjust many other things. Check that your vehicle is supported. It was not able to work with my wife's 2023 GMC Acadia.

Worked for my Grand Highlander to stop the seat belt beeping! You need a subscription to use the app, which is $19.99 I just did what needed done, and cancelled the subscription. Worth it!

2025 Toyota Tundra Platinum. One star is for false advertising this as having a free month on the app. It does not come with a free month! At minimum it’s $15 for one month. Be prepared. My main reason for purchase was to roll down the windows with the key fob. Long press on the lock button. This unit will allow you to roll down your windows with a long press of the remote. It should not open the sunroof but it does. It will NOT allow you to roll up your windows up with the remote. GMC trucks come with all that standard. One upside is that while the windows are going down you can quick press the lock and they will stop opening for a partial open window scenario. I did change a few other things but overall I thought this is disappointing and overhyped. Hopefully they come out with some updates to add features or update existing features. (like not having the sunroof open)

I used this on my 2023 Tundra, and it worked perfectly for adjusting several convenience settings. I was able to: Enable one-touch up/down for all four windows (no need to hold the switch) Turn off the seat belt chimes — very helpful when towing my RV and jumping in and out while backing up Set the turn signals to flash six times for lane changes Everything programmed easily and works exactly as expected. The only downside is that the companion app requires an annual subscription, which adds a bit of ongoing cost. Other than that, it’s a great product that gives you control over features Toyota locks down by default.

Worked on my 2022 RX Lexus and my husbands 2025 Toyota Camry. Different options each car but each had the ability to disable seat belt chimes and many more options. 7 blinks vs 3 for lane changes, volume of blinkers, what sensitivities for auto headlights and parking assistance volumes, sensitivities. Key fob hold vs single, double press. Lots more. Anyway, cost of unit here plus a month of service, $16.25 after tax and set up our cars. Cancelled service so I don’t get a surprise in a month. If I offer around to friends and family can maybe even knock the entry price down further. Definitely keeping the device. Kind of factored that in after verifying our cars were able to program and cut the void return tape. Good tool! Buy it on sale here or the carista website, depending on who has the sale and purchase a month subscription. No need to buy more than that unless you work at the dealership. Even then mechanics rarely talk to customers. Fleet mechanics don’t usually work on Toyota or Lexus so kind of a limited market but well worth the purchase, imho.

The Carista OBD scanner hardware itself is solid. The Bluetooth connection was fair and reasonably easy to set up. It’s a compact and well-built diagnostic tool that does a good job of reading basic codes. However, the main drawback is the software pricing structure. While the initial features you get for free are decent, unlocking the more advanced customizations and diagnostics (which is the real reason most people buy this) requires an expensive subscription. For a casual DIY user who just needs occasional use, the software cost makes this a hard sell. It works as described, but be aware of the ongoing costs if you want the full functionality.

Wszystko super, szkoda że aby mieć dostęp do wszystkich funkcji trzeba subskrybować aplikację, ale i tak fajne rozwiązanie. 1 miesiąc jest okresu próbnego, wiec można sobie włączyć w aucie wszystkie potrzebne funkcje a później w razie potrzeby wykupić dostęp do appki zależnie od potrzeby. Jedną z rzeczy które ja odblokowałem w swoim aucie to np. doświetlanie zakrętów. Ogólnie polecam !

Compré el Carista OBD para mi SEAT León con el objetivo de poder realizar diagnósticos y personalizar algunas funciones de mi vehículo de manera más sencilla. El dispositivo es muy fácil de usar: simplemente lo conectas al puerto OBD-II de tu coche y lo emparejas con la aplicación Carista en tu teléfono móvil. En cuanto lo conecté, pude ver de inmediato el estado general de mi vehículo y los códigos de error, lo que me permitió resolver algunos problemas menores que de otra forma podría haber ignorado. Una de las cosas que más me ha impresionado es la capacidad de personalizar el coche. Pude activar funciones como el auto-lock de las puertas cuando el vehículo alcanza una cierta velocidad, y ajustar la intensidad de las luces interiores. Todo esto sin necesidad de acudir a un taller. Además, el proceso de escaneo y diagnóstico de fallos fue rápido y muy preciso, lo que me dio mucha confianza sobre el estado general de mi coche. El único inconveniente que encontré es que algunas de las funciones avanzadas requieren una suscripción premium dentro de la app Carista, pero aún así, las funciones básicas son más que suficientes para la mayoría de los usuarios. En resumen, el Carista OBD es una herramienta impresionante para cualquier propietario de un SEAT León. Es fácil de usar, te permite hacer diagnósticos y ajustes personalizados, y ofrece una excelente relación calidad-precio. Definitivamente, lo recomendaría a cualquiera que busque una solución práctica para gestionar su vehículo desde su móvil

Not much customisation, just some basic stuff that also can customise through the instrument cluster. Unless purchased the top of the line dongle, MAYBE can perform more tweak.
