These NEEWER CM28 wireless lav mics are light, compact, and super easy to use. I really like that the charging case powers the mics, which makes them convenient for travel and quick setups. Audio is clear and noticeably better than using a phone mic, especially for the price, you really can’t beat the value here. The only drawback I’ve noticed is occasional interference from nearby frequencies when you’re at a large or crowded event. It doesn’t happen all the time, but it’s worth being aware of. Overall, a solid wireless mic system that punches above its price point.

Absolutely a game changer and honestly a great system once you find out how everything works! Its light and lasts a while and charges fast! Compact and elevates any project you are doing with high quality audio! It comes with usb c to usb c and ubs c to lighting adapter to connect to any usbc phone or older iphones! The battery lasts honestly forever and it charges really fast. Audio is very clear and clean once you fine tune settings on your camera or test your levels with the mic. It also comes with the audio jack cable to connect to your camera or device with a headphone jack. It comes with the little puff balls I call them to reduce noise for both mics. They are very compact and easy to use. The mics can be used one at a time if preferred, you don't have to use both mics to record something. The noise reduction works very well (it all comes down to fine tuning the settings and levels to your liking). Its honestly a slept on product and will change your videos and productions 100%. The case has slots to put the adapters inside and keep everything nicely in storage. Do note that when closing the case it has UV light that cleans the inside but it is the kind you should not look into since its the wavelength that can damage your eyes, it has a safety feature to prevent that but just in case DONT stare at the pretty light lol Its meant to kill bacteria and honestly its an awesome thing for it to have. You can keep the mics outside the case and turn off the mics and transmitter if you want to as well. The clips on them makes them easy to clip on almost anything. The mics have a magnet in case you want to hide the mics I guess? I never understood that, but you can stick them to stuff lol The magnets are pretty strong! The distance they transmit is actually really good! I will say if you are at lets say an expo MAYBE you will get some interference but that's just a common thing that's expected since a lot of wireless systems transmit at 2.4ghz so its possible. I personally never had a problem. You can connect the individual mics to a pc to get the files if you use internal recording, note that it will save them with them mic you used, it wont saved them on both, so if you used internal on mic1 the file will be on mic 1 only, and if you use mic 2 the files will be on mic2 not both, UNLESS of course you use both lol. Its pretty fast when transferring but could have been faster honestly but nothing major. You can pretty use these mics with anything that has a mic jack , like a pc, ive used it with so many devices with no problems at all. I would like to add that once you save your files, delete them from the device since I kinda forget and have alot on there..when you delete them they start at REC001 REC002 and so on, so make sure you put them in separate folders and rename them otherwise you may end up with mutiple RE001 named files haha Display is nice and bright and for people who cant see small print , maybe it could be an issue but it has enough brightness i think to help it be readable, but it is kind of small. I bought the CM28 with doing interviews and capturing audio while doing car reviews in mind. So I'll split this review into two sections: Section 1 will speak to interview quality and section 2 will speak to motovlog quality. Section 1: These mics are great for capturing audio for talking head or interviews via internal recording or audio transmitted to a camera, recorder or smartphone. The mic sensitivity can be adjusted from dB 1 to dB 5. It should be noted that these don't correlated with actual dB measurements. You simply have 5 options for mic pickup sensitivity. I've found 3 to be the sweet spot. The noise canceling feature can be very useful if you're recording in a very noisy environment such as by a noisy street, or dogs barking in your neighbors yard. However, if you have access to noise canceling software or plug-ins then I would go with this option as the built in noise cancelation tends to make your voice sound a bit robotic and adds artifacts. There are three modes which you can choose from : stereo , mono and mono safety. Stereo is ideal for interviews as long as both parties aren't close enough that each other's mics can pick up the others voice. Mono is good for solo recording and interviews if both parties will be in very close proximity to each other, such as a car. And mono safety records at the selected mic sensitivity as well as 6 decibels lower. However this can only be done with the transmitter as these mics essentially only record in mono. So if you select this function and record without the mic being connected to a camera, recorder or smartphone you will not have access to the safety track. The included windmuffs do a very good job at cutting down wind noise ( scale of 1-10 with 10 being excellent, I'd say 8). They fit securely as you have to place the windmuff into a groove and twist. So that makes it harder to lose. Section 2: It doesn't seem as though this mics can handle very loud noises such as engine revving or capturing in cabin audio while off-roading. Even with the sensitivity set to the lowest, distortion of the audio still occurs. So if you intend to buy this mic for that purpose, I would look elsewhere. Neewer does have the CM31 however I have not reviewed it so I cannot speak on it's ability as a motorvlogging mic but the specs have improved, so maybe that would be a good budget option. To summerize, the cm28 is a brilliant wireless mic set for the price. The battery life is long, connectivity is decent and the audio is clear. The unit is easy to use( to download audio from the mic, simply connect the white cable to the transmitter(mic) and not the reciever. The charging case looks good and has UV light to disinfect the unit after each use. I would recommend for talking head, interviews and solo vlogs at the beach or hiking but I'd look elsewhere if you were intending on using it to record your bike or car adventures.

These have been amazing. The audio quality is clear and professional. I use them for all my social media videos and they perform great every time. It comes as a pair, which is perfect for interviews, and the noise reduction works really well. Very happy with this purchase.

Totalmente satisfecho con mi compra. Todo es muy portátil y cómodo de llevar, incluye una bolsita donde también caben todos los cables adicionales. Creo que en la descripción del producto no se menciona que cada transmisor incluye unos pequeños imanes que ayudan a fijarlo a la ropa como alternativa al clip, esto es sumamente práctico. La cancelación de ruido sí funciona y atenua en su mayoría el ruido ambiental para que la voz sea clara. También incluye una opción para que la mezcla de ambos receptores sea en mono (combinada) o estéreo (por canal), verdaderamente útil para edición o postproducción. Hasta el momento lo he probado en grabaciones en mi celular con Android, una pequeña mezcladora de audio y directamente conectado a la computadora, en todos los casos el audio se escucha de buena calidad.

Ya llevo usándolos unos tres o cuatro meses y no me han decepcionado en ningún momento. La calidad del sonido me parece muy buena, sin ser yo un especialista, y me han solucionado muy bien mis necesidades para grabar vídeos o audio. Admiten bastante distancia mientras no haya objetos entre emisor y receptor. No he tenido problemas en este sentido. Los paravientos que incorpora son imprescindibles si grabamos al aire libre, pues son sensibles al viento (como la mayoría de este tipo de micros). Me han funcionado bien grabando con el móvil (USB) y con la cámara réflex (JACK). También grabando con los dos a la vez, uno por USB y otro por el jack. El echo de que los micros, a parte de transmitir el sonido al receptor, también tengan una memoria interna donde gravar una copia del audio, asegura que nunca vas a quedarte sin sonido en caso de interferencias. En caso de necesidad, incluso se puede usar el micro solo como una mini-grabadora.

Great microphone – iPhone users may need an additional adapter I purchased this microphone to record educational videos using my iPhone, and once everything was set up the sound quality was excellent. The only difficulty I had was getting it connected to the iPhone. The instruction leaflet asks you to scan a QR code for the full instructions, and the box includes several cables which appear to be designed more for cameras or other recording equipment. It wasn’t immediately clear which connection was needed for an iPhone. I initially purchased a Rode connector which unfortunately didn’t work. After watching several tutorials I realised many setups used a different adapter. Once I had the correct setup, the microphone worked brilliantly. Overall, a great microphone system with very good sound quality — just a slightly confusing setup for iPhone users.
