Some Favorite Characters Live On!
Although I was not as big an Alistair fan as nearly everyone else I know, Varric and Isabella are two of my all time favorite characters from any video game world. It was fun continuing to follow their exploits in this story/adventure. Were this in a novel form, much more could have been told and lots of background filled in, but it was perfectly paced for a graphic novel - felt like I was back playing the game again (but with less control over the outcome, of course)! I'm not sure that the 'voices' held true for all three well-known characters and that can distract from the storytelling when following three known entities is the whole point for reading.

An Excellent Addition to the "Dragon Age" Canon
Those Who Speak is a satisfying follow up to The Silent Grove. The story continues Alistair's quest for answers about his father and his journey to confront Aurelian Titus. This time, however, the story is told mostly from Isabella's point of view. Without giving away too much, Those Who Speak reveals much about her past and adds depth to her character while filling in holes left by the video games. It was also very nice to see a female Qunari in action, as well as a familiar face from the original game. Those Who Speak is a worthwhile read and an excellent chapter in the Dragon Age canon.

Customer review of Dragon Age Graphic Novel, "Those Who Speak"
Dragon Age Volume 2: Those Who Speak This was about normal for a fantasy graphic novel. The artwork wasn't the greatest but it was good enough. I'd recommend it to Dragon Age fans if they haven't read it.

Great, would buy again
Beautiful, amazing quality book. I love the hardcover and the colors really pop out of the pages. This is important for a graphic novel. The pages are semi glossy and gorgeous. I love all of the Dragon Age books and own them all. Can't wait for the next one in April.

Nice to see the further adventures of King Alistair (since he died in my Playthrough of Origins). Very enjoyable series of books.

There's three pages dead center in the book (right in the middle of the action) where the print is doubled and off center making
The story was lovely and the artwork was as well, though there were some issues with the printing of the copy I got. There's three pages dead center in the book (right in the middle of the action) where the print is doubled and off center making it look like those cheap 3-d comics from early 2000. The story itself was great, it was just my luck of the draw I suppose.

Great for DA and Isabela Fans!
"Those Who Speak" is a wonderful adventure, full of action, excitement and plenty of information about Isabela for the really huge "Dragon Age" fan. There's an appearance by a companion from the original game, we get our first glimpse, even if brief, of Tevinter and there's a wonderful set-up for the next volume that promises to be explosive. But as fun as all this was, the real focus of the volume was on developing Isabela. There is a lot of back-story given on her an I mean a lot. If you were a fan of her in DA2 you are in for a good time with this comic. I'd say there is more character development here for Isabela than there was in the whole of DA2, unless your Hawke was romancing her. The Qunari are also given plenty of pages here, with more of their "philosophy" and even a real female Qunari which I believe is the first ever shown in the "Dragon Age" series. The art is beautiful, lavish with much more energy and flair than in the first volume. There are some truly gorgeous pages, beginning with two superb illustrations by Anthony Palumbo right at the start. The script is tight and the pacing perfect, with a wonderful mix of action and story. This is just a great comic and a great addition to this fantastic universe! Its just something any fan cannot miss. Well done!

Good second instalment
Arrived really quickly; despite it saying it would be delivered in 2 weeks or so I received it in only a few days! The book itself is a really exciting second instalment of the story, and goes into more detail about Isabela which is really interesting. The artwork is beautiful and the story telling is fast paced and exciting.High quality materials.

A must for fans
If you love Dragon Age, you're going to enjoy this. It's a solid entry into Bioware's imaginary world. Good art and concise story telling. If you've never played Dragon Age you have some catching up to do.
