I bought the color I wanted from the 3 color choices. Color was exactly as pictured. Doesn't quite fit my kayak, but with the straps keeping it in place it works great!

Q: Is the stated width range the entire width or the width between the bunks? I need to know the width range between the bunks.

I bought another one of these carts. So now I have 2. They are great quality, buy 1 before they figure out that they are worth more than advertised. The Width are adjustable small to a wide size. Will fit any Kayak. I have Old Town Kayaks, Top Water and Salty. They are perfect for heavy loading. I have wasted money on those cheaper carts that lasted couple of trips only. May Kayak weight close to 200 lbs when it's loaded and no issue with this cart.

Q: Is it possible for the railings to fit inside scupper homes if I put them up vertically?

It's a bold idea, but we don't recommend trying it, lol..

Q: Why does the guy in the video have two pieces of wood across the carrier? Do these actually work out-of-the-box?

No the wood doesnt come with the cart. But it helps if your kayak has grooves.
