Of course these were the least cost grabbers and the rotating claw does not lock in place when you need it to. It is a floating 360 degree head so when you need to pick something up that has some weight the claw rotates and the item is easily dropped. So depending on what you need this for it may or may not work. The DMI branded one I purchased as a replacement works great because the claw rotates as needed but then locks in the position you set it when you actual grab an item, hence avoid dropping an item. There was nothing in the description that indicated the claw was floating, without locking.

Trash Grabber
Works well for picking up garage on a local hikes. After a slight learning curve, my 6 year old was able to squeeze the handle with one hand. It is great practice in dexterity for her to pick up the smallest pieces of paper on the trail. I was able to use them to pick up beer and soda bottles with liquid in them. Adults have to bend a little because they are on the shorter side. They are light weight and work well for what I got them for. Great price!

Poorly made.
I had extensive back surgery 6 weeks ago and am on restrictions to not bend, twist, or lift for 4 months. I purchased various reacher/grabbers for every room in the house since I use them constantly. These are poorly made and do not grasp or lift nearly as well as other ones I also use. I would not recommend these, especially if you are dependent on them. Very frustrating.

My original grabber of this model broke when I tried ...
My original grabber of this model broke when I tried to move some heavy shoes to where I could put them on. I replaced with the same model as I have difficulty in dressing and the claw design works well for taking clothes off hangers, grabbing other handicap aids, and generally dressing. As long as you are careful they will last a long time but just don't expect them to deal with heavy objects

grip is a bit stiff to work
OK, but the grip is a bit stiff to work if you have some arthritis in the hands. I used ones with a red handle in rehab and they worked well. This is why I ordered these. The ones I received had yellow grip handles, so don't know if this makes the difference but these are not as easy to grip as the ones with the red handles were.

Extremely Helpful!
These grabbers are very affordable and helpful. My wife is short and these help extend her reach to retrieve wet laundry from the washer to place in the dryer. She is happy, therefore I am as well!

good thing it’s a pack of two, so you have a replacement ready when the first one breaks in a week
Of the many grabber arms I’ve owned, these are particularly bad. Loose grip even before the tips break off, and hopeless thereafter.

Poor Quality
One grabber tool works and the other one does not close all the way.
