The Flashcal is the most advanced, & yet the most easy to use, tool on the market for recalibrating the speedometer for JK Wrangler customers who have upgraded tires, gears or axles on their rigs. Flashcal provides a quick calibration solution to ensure the Jeep is dialed in properly. Now Flashcal owners can upgrade their unit to a Flashpaq online. A simple internet update can add award winning tuning straight to their device. ** This product has not been tested or validated on right hand drive Jeep applications or imported (non-American VIN based)Jeep applications. They are not supported by this product. Review: Excelente - Excelente Artículo, Muy Recomendable. 👍 Review: Item as advertised and was easy to setup and use! - I Purchased the Flash Cal (Bought on sale here) version and Upgraded it over the internet to the Flash Paq. You have to install the app on your computer from Superchips website and when you conect the device to the computer it will give you the option to upgrade to the flash paq for $200 or so. Once it was upgraded i updated on my computer than plugged it into my Jeep JK and adjusted my tire size and installed the performance tune along with a couple other changes and seems to make my Jeep run better. I will update this review after I have used it for a month or so.

This works.
If you are reading this, you are either on the fence about buying or are looking for affirmation that this is the right thing to do. It is. I have a 2012 4 dr Unlimited Rubicon. I have 35 inch tires and a host of suspension upgrades. The performance of the 3.6 has been okay, but I've felt that shift points have been way off as well as speedo. I installed a Mopar Performance cold air intake, and that helped with throttle response, but my JK has always seemed to hunt for the right gear. I serviced the WA 580 auto trans at 30k miles with full synthetic ATF +4; better, but not a full remedy. After a lot of research, and reading reviews, I opted to try the FlashCal. After a simple update on the desktop, it took a grand total of 20 minutes to reset my tire size calibration. The result was nothing short of amazing. My JK no longer felt like it didn't know what gear to be in, and shifting was smooth. I also took advantage of some of the simple features like turning off the horn chirp with door lock. Gas mileage increased from 12.3 to 14.7; might even get better when I stop jumping on the throttle. I was so please with the FlashCal that I opted for the $$ upgrade to FlashPak; nice. Using the 91 octane performance tune, my JK runs like I've changed the cam. I have an abundance of smooth power from idle to wide open throttle; love the freeway now. Bottom line regarding some of negative reviews: If you have a Mac, consider installing Parallels and Windows 10. It's not cheap (Parallels is $70 and Windows 10 is $119), but for me it works; my daughter uses Windows and Mac it for school. Read and follow the directions. Connect to Ignition and update the tuner before 1st use. If you want to upgrade to FlashPak later; no problem. Follow the instructions on the screen when hooked up to your OBD-II port; easy enough, but be patient (and know the difference between ACC and Ign On but engine not running). This thing is almost fool-proof. Many reviews have said this is over-priced and a 'one-time' use; I disagree. It's far cheaper than a cam swap if seeking more power. You can carry this tuner off-road and be able to control functions like idle and front/rear diff lock for us Rubicon owners. And for those of us in s smog state (like CA), I can set it back to stock for my bi-annual smog test, then quickly go back to performance. I'll use it every other year for sure. You won't be sorry you bought this.

Great little powerhouse of a device!
So obviously what I didn’t like was the price, but I did manage to get it on a sale. It’s packed with many beneficial features for your ride and is easy enough to set things up. But typically it’s a once and done type of tool so better to buy when it’s on sale. I do recommend this handy tool!
