I buy a lot on Amazon and rarely review but I can’t help myself with this item- it’s AMAZING. I used to swear by afterbite but they changed the formula and it now ineffective for me. This is better than the original afterbite. You get that good sting on the mosquito bite where you know it’s working. Also, afterbite was temporary relief but I would keep reapplying. After using this, the itch is GONE within minutes. It’s very small in size and has a usb-c port for charging. This is an afterbite replacement that never expires and never runs out. What more can you ask for!

It definitely works and takes the itch out of a sting within a minute, you may need to do it twice for very itchy bites however it works a treat

Why did I not learn about this a long time ago? Apparently, using heat to kill the protein in a mosquito bite is pretty well-established science, but not very many people are aware. This device is neat and compact, so it is easy to keep handy in a purse, pocket or backpack. It is rechargeable (USB-C), and seems to last a long time on a charge. It only takes a very few seconds to use, and I have found it to be effective - sometimes it does take a second application, and the sooner you apply it, the better. It does apply significant heat to a very targeted area, so if you are sensitive to that feeling, you will have to decide whether you'd rather itch. And, some parts of the body are more sensitive than others - both to heat and itching, so you pick. It is not so hot that it has every left me with any burns - even mildly. My wife is extremely sensitive to mosquito bites, and they find her to be very tasty, so this is a huge help.

If you are even mildly allergic to insect bites, this device is PRICELESS!!! I have scars on my legs from scratching itchy insect bites, especially chiggers! I also have issues with mosquito 🦟 and flea bites!! This device relieves them ALL, in minutes, not weeks!! I no longer have to rely on the itch relief creams and gels. Until I found this life saver, I would be MISERABLE for 2 weeks, scratching chigger bites!! Don't get discouraged, because it may take several 8 second cycles, but it will STOP the itching!! The "high" setting works best for me, but I have to move it around in small circles directly over the bite, so that it does not burn my skin. I'm so dependent on this miracle device that I just ordered a second one (by accident,I left the other one at work, almost 2 hours away), which will arrive tomorrow. Do yourself, or a family member a favor, DISREGARD the NEGATIVE reviews and order one (or 2, so you will have a back up)!! I received the second unit which is a different model, by the same company, and costs $3 less. I would have to give this one 4 stars (plus 1/2 star for the miniature screwdriver 🪛 set) for 3 reasons...... each cycle is 3 seconds shorter, it takes longer to heat up, and it doesn't have the cool UV light....😆 🤣. So, unless you need a miniature screwdriver 🪛 set, spend the extra $3 and get the better model (in my opinion).
