Incredible flashlight and I could see it holding its own for using in rough conditions - super tough and heavyweight. It did take a few hours to fully charge the rechargeable battery - but once charged I was amazed at how powerful the light was. I turned off all the lights near the basement and the basement itself and shined it into the basement - amazing clarity and super bright! SUPER bright. I need this light for when I sometimes photograph abandoned buildings (legally) where no electricity is available. This is ideal for those dark basements without windows - and will provide an extra fill light if needed. I also like that it can run on standard batteries - this is critical for my application. To be without light if you overestimate the amount of time the rechargeable will last - without access to electricity; it's great to know carrying a few spare batteries will suffice in an emergency. I can tell this will last many years - as long as I remember to remove the battery when not needed for extended periods. The only con is that the belt clip string looks very flimsy and will probably break easily. I'll be replacing it with a stronger cord. But other than that - I can honestly say this is the best flashlight I have ever owned!
