Color:Night Black | Style:Pria 85 Supreme Comfort Surround your child in comfort with the Maxi-Codi Praia 85 Convertible Car Seat. Featuring CosiCushion fabrics and padding, it's the only premium convertible car seat that offers a first-class ride from 14-85 pounds. Superior Side Impact Protection The Praia 85 fits children rear-facing starting at 14 pounds and keeps them cozy up to 40 pounds. When they're ready to ride forward-facing, turn this car seat around to safely fit children up to 85 pounds; the highest weight range offered by a harness in a convertible car seat (as of November 2016). Both stages benefit from the safer Air Protect side impact technology which protects your child where it's needed most, around the head. Convenient Harness Holders It's also easier to get your child in and out of the Praia 85 thanks to harness holders that keep the straps out of the way and a flip away buckle. This clever buckle won't get stuck under your baby when getting in the seat or stuck in clothing when getting out. Machine Washable Fabrics Keeping the Praia 85 clean is simple. The seat pad unsnaps and removes easily over the frame, and can go right into the washer and dryer. Also, there's no need to remove the seat from the car or to make complicated maneuvers with the harness straps. All this allows you to get a thorough clean not available in other car seats. More Room for Passengers The Praia 85 is also specially designed to fit better in your car, allowing more room for your passengers to stretch out in the front seats.

my 1 1/2 year old baby girl and myself were in a terrible accident, struck by a drunk driver
I purchased this seat about 6 months ago. A week ago my husband, my 1 1/2 year old baby girl and myself were in a terrible accident, struck by a drunk driver. My baby girl was protected by this car seat and is alive today because of it. I went out two days later and purchased it again because I know it will protect her.

I was in a very bad accident two weeks ago with my three year old son. I got rear ended by a tractor trailer going 70 miles per hour. Thank God my son and I are pretty much ok. This car seat was fabulous. The air bags deployed and saved my son's life!!!!! Thank you, Maxi Cosi!!!! I would recommend this to any parent looking for a safe and reliable car seat. A little pricey, but it's worth it!!!!

I hate this car seat!!
I have the Maxi Cosi Mico Max infant car seat and wanted to upgrade to a convertible car seat because my sweet little Dude is just getting too heavy for me to lug around in his car seat... After looking at car seats in person, we found what we thought we wanted (Graco Extend2Fit), but they didn't have the color I wanted in stock, so I came home and started looking at different car seats.. Of course I started watching videos on YouTube and product reviews of the Graco Car seat and when I started looking at the Maxi Cosi Pria 85 Max, I definitely thought THAT is it, that's the one I want. Without having been able to compare it with my own eyes, I did something I never do... I purchased both of them, because I feel like my Little Dude's comfort and safety is my primary concern in choosing a car seat. They both arrive, they both fit comparably in my car (small SUV), but that's where the similarity ends... Because I hate the maxi Cosi Pria car seat...1) The Graco car seat has a bubble level to see if it's installed properly, the Maxi Cosi has some random etched line that is not only ghetto in comparison, but just doesn't work for me functionally.2) The Graco car seat clicks into different recline positions in both rear and forward facing, and it has a sort of sticker built into the base with the numbers on it, so you Know which position the car seat is in. You'd think the Pria would have something similar... But, NO, it's absolutely impossible to tell what recline position the Maxi Cosi Pria 85 Max is in, regardless of toward or rear facing...3) And I felt like it was actually quite a bit more difficult to actually get my child into and buckled in this car seat, which I wasn't really expecting..So, overall, I absolutely detest this car seat. When comparing the two car seats side-by-side you'd expect all of the convenience and functionality that I mentioned to be describing the Pria, as it's a $280 car seat, as opposed to ~$170. But no, for $280 you are getting less functionality and just nicer fabric. So no thanks. I don't think nicer fabric has ever been credited with saving a child's life... This will be sent back immediately.

It's very comfortable, she's a hot body
2008 Lexus GX470 - RF level 2 - The front seat basically had no room.2015 Lexus RX350 - RF - level 2 - The front seat had enough room for maximum of a person standing at 5.10". (Knees touching the glove compartment). My daughter outgrew her infant car seat at 5 months. She's always been in the 99%+ for everything, so she's big. She LOVES this car seat. It's very comfortable, she's a hot body, and she stays fairly cool in this car seat. We've taken it for long car rides, 854 miles each way, and she slept through all of it, where she used to wake up every 100 miles in her Graco infant car seat because she got so hot in it.Update::I took this seat with me and this car seat fits on all Delta airplanes even the regional jets. Rearfacing the seat in front of you wont have any reclining room, so o turned her forward facing in 2 recline and she slept like she does in long car rides.

Big, Plush, Comfortable
This is our second Maxi Cosi Pria 85 Max - we switch between two cars throughout the week and convertible car seats are not meant to be constantly moved around from car to car.Pros:COMFORT: The seat is so plush, our 10 month old looks very comfortable and we were easily able to adjust the headrest to make sure he fit appropriately in the seat.CLEANING: I took the cover off to wash and LOVE that it can go through the dryer, which is practically unheard of for car seat covers. It was very easy to get the cover off and on once I knew how it hooked under the seat.STRAPS AND CLIP: The straps are so easy to adjust, and the clips on the side of the seat to hold the straps when the child isn't in the seat are perfectly placed to help prevent twisting. I quickly got the hang of the magnetic clasp (it was tricky the first time, but as soon as you figure out the pressure/movement needed, it becomes so easy) but due to the angle you need to unclasp it, I know this will be helpful to prevent my son from unbuckling himself in the future while the car is moving.WEIGHT LIMITS: The rear-facing weight/height limit (40 lbs/40") is pretty standard, but the forward-facing limit of 85 pounds is much better than many other seats on the market. We felt like the cost was justified because we can use this seat longer than we could a seat with a 50lb forward-facing limit.Neutral:INSTALLATION: I found the latch connectors easy to use, but since this is our second one of these seats, I have some experience under my belt when it comes to installation. I will say that you have to pull VERY hard on the latch loop to get the car seat tight enough that it doesn't move when you push on it. My husband had to do this step because I couldn't get it tight enough on my own. That being said, we don't plan on moving the car seat again so it's not something you'll encounter regularly.Con:SIZE: This is a BIG seat. It lends itself to comfort, but I wouldn't recommend this for rear-facing in a small car. Even in our mid-size SUV (2015 Acadia), we had to move up the front seat in order to set the car seat to the appropriate recline while rear-facing. As the child ages and you reduce the recline, this would be less of an issue. But due to the fact that this seat is designed to be used from birth, you could be in this situation for more than a year depending on the size of your child.Overall 4.5/5 stars. It works for our car, but may not be the right seat for small cars. Have a professional inspect the installation to ensure that you have the LATCH strap tight enough. Although we were using this for a child that had outgrown an infant seat, I felt like the magnetic clasp was enough to justify this seat over the normal Pria 85. If they roll out new versions of the Pria 70/85 with the magnet, I would recommend those over the 85 Max simply because I don't know many people who use convertible seats for infants.

Excelente opción a precio justo

the best and most useful feature is that there is handles ...
I have both the jool maxi cosi and this model! To be honest it's a lot easier to put him in this seat compared to the other one! I am sure it is as safe ! the best and most useful feature is that there is handles for the straps ! I think it always bothered my son me trying to find the straps in the other seat! He always started crying!Another cool feature is the headrest ! You can move it up down with no strap adjustment !Overall I really like this seat baby can use it up to 85pds which is a long period of time ! (My baby is 1 yr old at 20 pds)
