Excellent printer.This is my 4th printer (previously had Voxelab Quila, Ender 3, Ender 3 pro).Took me around 30mins to get is all out of box and built ready to power on.Device runs some checks and levels itself straight away.Set up my laptop & phone to send prints and monitor the device when off-site.Sent a print to the device and set it to around 400m/s speed. It prints very fast, very accurate, very good quality.This is the upgrade that I was hoping for. My previous printers had manual bed leveling adjustment with sensors to pickup any inconsistencys.This print 100% levels the bed WITHOUT any user interaction required. No turning of knobs until its right.Press a button and bam it was levelled within 2mins and when I say levelled I mean PERFECTLY LEVELLED.Sent a print that would normally take 8hrs on my other printers, it completed it at half speed in 3hr29min and with MUCH better quality (even on standard quality in the slicer).This is the perfect printer for a new user as there is alot less faffing about.I am well impressed with the build quality, speed, quality of print with minimal effort. Kudos to Flash Forge for this one!!! Brilliant.

3 Months update, Machine is still doing fantastically well, very rare fail print and mostly user error. Plenty of aftermarket accessories like built plate and nozzles. Pair it with a Sunlu S4 and it is almost as good as Bambu AMS. So Far a few hundred hours non stop printing and happy to buy another one to make long project faster.I have been using the Flashforge Adventurer 5X for a wide mix of practical workshop parts and decorative multi colour models and it has been a very enjoyable machine to own. Out of the box setup takes around 30 to 45 minutes and after that it is ready to print. The process is well guided and nothing feels confusing even if you are not coming from another Flashforge printer. Full auto levelling works reliably and saves a lot of time.For PLA and PETG there is no need for an enclosure at all. Prints stick well and come out clean and consistent. Flashforge provides a very detailed wiki with clear guides and explanations and that makes learning the printer much easier. From first power on to slicing and printing everything you need is documented clearly and it helps you gain confidence quickly. Files from Makerworld and other STL sharing websites work well and most designs slice without issues in the Flashforge Orca slicer.Some filament is included with the printer which is useful for testing and for the sample prints stored in the internal memory. It does not last long but it is enough to get familiar with the machine and confirm everything is working as expected. Multi colour printing is simple once all four filament ports are loaded. The system handles colour changes automatically. It is worth knowing that multi colour prints take a long time because each layer requires filament changes and this also creates a lot of waste material. That is simply how this system works. There are advanced modifications like Zmod but they require strong software and firmware knowledge and are not realistic for most users.I printed a taller enclosure myself using PETG and files found online. This was mainly to stop the tubes rubbing on the top lid and it worked perfectly. I also added the official camera (not included) which allows monitoring from a phone. The live view is quite laggy and the recorded timelapse quality is not great but it is usable and helpful for checking long prints.Print speed is very impressive and once dialled in it is comparable with the Bambu Lab P2S. Print quality is excellent with smooth walls and accurate dimensions. Hotend changes are straightforward but not tool free as two screws and a small plastic block must be removed. I have used inexpensive aftermarket hotends in sizes 0.25 0.6 and 0.8 and all have worked reliably. Overall this printer offers outstanding performance and flexibility and represents super good value for money for anyone wanting fast dependable multi colour printing at home.

I don't have many regrets on life but buying this printer is one. I've had it for nearly a year and still haven't managed to print any thing off other than the preset items on the screen which it came with. I have had 2 IT technicians to help get it set up and working .The first one manage to connect it to my internet and laptop by remotely logging into my computer .This took them one and a half hours .Then it still didn't print. I've paid for another IT person to come today and they have spent a further hour and a quarter trying to get the laptop or app talking to the printer to get it to print.One item started to print but came off the printing plate and fell apart after the IT guy had left. I am now going to have to ring up tomorrow to get more advise as there are all sorts of issues showing on the screen about the reason it can't print. You will get no help from the manufacturer as they are in china and will send you to their website.If you are not IT trained DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER .The software and the ability to use it are hell. I wanted a printer for my 10 year old to be able to select a gadget and press print .Nothing could be further from this.This printer is not for a domestic home

Still to this day Its a solid printer!After my1200hours of printer I have updated and upgraded only minor things. Its 1500 hours and still running. I also got 2 for my school as D&T teacher and business account get it cheaper £330 it was and £305 now with the discounted price.I have updated the belt with I hated but it doesn't make much of a difference! I used to think its going to be a headache but it was 20min with NO disassembly required! I kid you not.As a High speed printer it’s very fast and it has a lot of torque! So the standard Belt was made to break! The printer will outlive the belt.Fastest way to change the belt is to undo X first from both sides of the printhead, glue one side to the new belt, then just pull through and feed the new one in place. Its that easy and its only 1.5/1.3meters of belt required for X and same goes for Y axes.Printable have a good 5M/5MPro communities as well as Thingyverse. Fot new tool head cooler and such.I advise you to go on Alibaba for part cooling fan if you break it like me or for toolhead fan. Its only £2/£3 each on their and no where to be found on Amazon or Temu. It works a charm.The top lid extension is a must! (You now if you know)Extended Bowden tube and replacement is a must! (Stock one is fragile and incompetent) -grey with 2mm inner bore is a good option.Flexible bed - many options for 256x256 same as many others (cheaper on Aliexpress)And printouts for grills and others such as part cooling clip for safety and long prints is a must if you like tinkering!I tried others such as 2 Auxiliary fans which is a waste of time and money! Do not do it.You could get Opensource Klipper firmware update, BUT stock one is really solid and has updates regularly.You can get better silicon feet than stock ones which are only mentioned to be anti-slip, it does eat up much of the vibrations.Future upgrades I am looking forward to getting a 150x150mm 15mm thich iron plate to weigh down the printer under the bed at the bottom of the cavity as the printer is too light and much the inertia if being transferred rather than disposed off.I want to appreciate and celebrate 🥳 the awesome 3D printer that is both usable and easy to use by far from any other project printers like Creality K1 with an unbeatable price range.I want to shout out to Flashforge for future upgrades and options for UK schools. For inspectors and obligation issues.Latching doors, emergency 🚨 stop button! Filter for intake!This meets 2 levels of safety in the classroom and workshops. And very easy fixes.I have designed and will be releasing the 5Mpro latching for both doors on Thingyverse.The emergency Stop button integration which is basically replacing the switch on the back with a push to break latching button with red and yellow colour. It would be awesome if there was a printable version with a simple limit switch embedded for everyone to tinker!

Well I must say this thing is amazing. I have been 3d printing for many years starting with an Ender 3, then a Sunlu s8, finally a Biqu B1, compared to them this thing is in a league of it's own, very fast, great quality and colour changing too. I advise the first print sohould be a poop bucket for the back as it poops a lot! I was not looking forward to learning a new slicer, but it was very easy and plenty of online guides. I would say a great printer for beginners and advanced alike, the only thing I would say is a bigger build volume would be handy. One thing to consider too, is it needed a firmware update to connect to slicer and phone app. but easily done. No more moving SD cards from PC to printer, and a 3hr print in PETG on my last printer now takes 41 mins, and quality is far better.The only problems I have had so far are due to using an old (damp filament) so my own fault!If you are thinking about it, buy it while it's on offer! Great machine ( a little noisy ) but just put it somewhere away from telly, lol

I’ve been really happy with the Flashforge Adventurer 5X. It was much easier to get up and running than I expected, and after a bit of initial setup I was printing without having to constantly mess around with settings.Print quality has been really good so far and the whole thing feels well made. I also like how straightforward the software and controls are, especially compared with some of the other 3D printers I’ve used.One of the best things for me has been the ability to run custom firmware. It gives you a lot more flexibility and lets you get more out of the printer rather than being stuck with the stock setup.Overall, I’d definitely recommend it, especially if you want a printer that is easy to use but still gives you plenty of options to tinker with as you get more experienced.

Great product was a bit scared to use at first, but once I started printed using it I realised that it was really easy to use and now I can't stop looking for things to print like Model kits, scenery/terrain, storage options, seasonal decorations or just useful bits. The only downsides in my opinion is the software as it doesn't always connect to my pc so be patient with it and it can be noisy so keep that in mind for its placement, Print quality is great and you can buy different size nozzles to refine the quality and overall I have really really enjoyed using this printer.

I've put a couple hundred hours into this printer now and I can say I'm incredibly impressed. The print quality is great for my purposes and the colour change feature is excellent. My previous printer was an xyz so this is a huge step up and in my opinion perfect for hobbyists who are looking for good cost vs capabilitiesI have only used PLA filament and PETG, so I cant speak to how it handles other filaments.There was a small set up issue regarding updating the printer software that had to be solved with an external usb, so I would recommend googling that if you have an issue.

Ich betreibe den Creator 5 nun seit gut 230 Stunden.Durch die vier einzelnen Druckköpfe eröffnet sich eine völlig neue Welt des Mehrfarbdrucks: Der Wechsel dauert nur 7 Sekunden, funktioniert sauber und es entsteht nahezu kein Filamentabfall.Mein Pro & Contra:Druckqualität (10/10):Bei PLA, PETG und eSUN ABS+ – sowohl im normalen als auch im Multifarben-Modus – ist die Qualität absolut überragend. In puncto Druckqualität steht er meinem H2S in nichts nach.Handhabung:An den Komfort und die Einsteigerfreundlichkeit eines Bambu Lab reicht er zwar nicht ganz heran, aber ich komme mit der Einfachheit des Druckers im Alltag sehr gut zurecht.Das manuelle Laden und Entladen des Filaments war anfangs etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, funktioniert im Alltag jedoch tadellos.Bed-Leveling:Das automatische Bettnivellieren wird zuverlässig durchgeführt, allerdings leider nur vollflächig und nicht adaptiv. Dadurch nimmt das Leveling vor jedem Druck etwas zusätzliche Zeit in Anspruch.Software & Slicer:Der Flash Studio Slicer funktioniert unter Windows 11 einwandfrei. Unter Ubuntu hatte ich allerdings häufiger Probleme mit der Verbindung zum Drucker.Kamera & App:Die Kamera ist bestenfalls auf P1S-Niveau, reicht für die Überwachung über „Flash Studio“ und die Smartphone-App aber völlig aus.Die App selbst ist gut gemacht und funktioniert auch von unterwegs zuverlässig und problemlos.Zubehör:Der von Flashforge bereitgestellte Abfallbehälter zum Selberdrucken macht seinen Job ordentlich. Dadurch landen die Filamentfäden, die beispielsweise beim Laden oder Wechseln des Filaments entstehen, nicht mehr einfach auf dem Boden des Bauraums.Mein Fazit:Wer über kleinere Abstriche bei Software und Komfort hinwegsehen kann, bekommt hier einen extrem starken Mehrfarbdrucker, den ich voll und ganz empfehlen kann!

Después de 1 año con ella he de decir que fue todo un acierto, sin tener la idea que tengo hoy día me puse a imprimir sin necesidad de tener unos conocimientos grandes.Actualmente no voy a hablar de características técnicas de esta impresora 3d simplemente porque hay mil y una reviews de ella, solo voy a hablar de mi experiencia como usuario inexperto en el momento de la compra y si ha tenido fallos garrafales de impresora de poca calidad.Lo primero y más importante no necesitas conocimientos de experto para poner a funcionar esta impresora, en mi caso fue, unboxing del producto, enchufar, calibraciones (automáticas), configurar su conexión, cargar filamento (por supuesto empecé con lo fácil el PLA) mandar la pieza y recibir el resultado.La interfaz de la pantalla se muestra muy simple, con varias opciones típicas de estas impresoras, todo muy intuitivo, como dije anteriormente preparado para personas que no tienen idea de impresión 3d.La máquina se ve robusta, por mi parte bien embalada y protegida, en cuánto la saqué de su empaque note calidad y pensé que como era posible, por el precio que pagué, que me pareció bastante competitivo con respecto a sus contrincantes, podía tener esa calidad.Como dije antes a partir de ahí todo fue empezar a imprimir (plug&play).Como construcción no me voy a andar con rodeos, totalmente metalizada excepto sitios que veo lógico un abaratamiento de costes, porque sería innecesario colocar metal dónde un plástico también cumple esa función.Los pilares he de decir que son robustos y en seguida notas un buen producto.En cuánto a atascos solo tuve dos y fue por error mío, he de decir que con esta impresora, estoy muy satisfecho del aprendizaje que he ido acumulando, hasta el punto de haber desmontado el extrusor (siempre con cuidado) sin saber dónde me metía, para quitar restos.Los materiales en los que he impreso hasta ahora han sido:PLA, PLA+, PETG, ABS y ahora me atreveré con TPU a ver que sale, que viéndo las características que tiene la 5mPro, podría imprimirlo sin problemas.El programa de corte para flashforge, es muy intuitivo se basa en orca slicer y es muy fácil de aprender sus características, a base de prueba-error-conocimiento (que es como se aprende de verdad) consigues los resultados deseados, aún así existen millones de vídeos y tutoriales de ello al respecto.Básicamente me volvería a comprar esta impresora sabiendo lo que se hoy? Rotundamente si, hoy día sigue siendo una impresora bastante competitiva, incluso, su precio ha bajado y la encontramos más barata, posiblemente existan impresoras hoy día que la superan en características, pero hacedme caso cuando digo que esta imprime con una calidad muy buena, y si eres capaz de afinar parámetros ya ni te cuento por el precio que tiene.Por último no te voy a decir que es la biblia de las impresoras, pero si la que me hizo saltar a este mundo tan bonito y tan complejo a la vez, de hecho casi al 100% adquiriré la nueva ADX5, que aunque soy reáceo a malgastar filamento por los deshechos que genera, si pienso que se le puede sacar partido cuando tienes que hacer clones de piezas en una misma cama.Sin más espero que os sirva mi humilde opinión que aunque os lo pinte muy bonito siempre existen altibajos y dolores de cabeza, pero al final se basa en eso prueba-error-conocimiento, un saludo

So, I am new to 3D printing, I mean Brand Spanking New. Never printed anything in 3D prior to getting this printer. I actually bought it for my 10 year old son since 3D printing is an elective he will be taking in the new school year. I waited to write this review because I really wnted to test it out and see what issues arose. Yeah, Dad has been hogging this printer since we got it. I am telling you, this thing is incredible. Almost a plug and play printer. Set up is easy, first print is super fun (the little cube), and I am blown away at how fun this is.THe PROS of this are basically what I said above and that I have had almost no critical issues.1. Super easy to load and unload filament2. A lot of helpful YouTube videos to help you get started3. Super clean looking design and easy to monitor what is going on.So the cons of this printer are this:I am still trying to figure out the FlashPrint software. Not easy to find, then the download was challenging, my guess is that it has to do with compability issues between Chinese and English systems, but that is only a guess. FlashCloud was relatively easy to set up. One thing I notice about the FLashCloud is that it seems to go down on the Pacific Time Zone from early morning (say 3-6am - not really sure) until about 10-11 am. Once we get beyond 11am, the FlashCloud seems to start up and run with no issues. That's all I have right now.There are some printing issues that I cannot really attribute to the printer, but more my novice-ness at 3D printing. That may change as I move forward, but I am having no issues running the recommended settings in FlashCloud. There is very little stringing, and I mean VERY little. Some very little bumps in the edges, but again, I thin this will improve as I improve.If I could ask the manufacturer for some upgrades, it would be these:1. Include a cable to connect the printer to desktop computers and make it easier to download FlashPrint software. This would really help when you want to print but the FlashCloud is being finickiy or moody with logging in. Also, USB is not functional without the FlashPrint slicing to convert into G files.2. Allow to print MF files directly from Microsoft 3D files, this would really streamline the process, but again, I am new to 3D printing so what do I know.3. The on-line camera is a nice to have, but for new users, I haven't found it useful to use. The delay in monitoring can be up to half a minute (using FlashCloud) and unless you like watching paint dry, or prhaps QC issues, not really needed in my humble opinion.All i all, I would HIGHLY recommend this printer to anyone new to 3D printing, it is so easy and a real joy to work with. Very little noise, and I haven't printed with ABS yet, but soon, very soon.p.s. all photos of parts were created using TinkerCAD - again HOW incredible is that!!! LOVE this printer.
