Small and handy, reads dc voltage as it should, and will be used to monitor dc in my RV.

Actually, it works very well. I compared the output with my digital voltmeter, and they were identical. Also, it is flexible enough to mount horizontally or vertically. That was important to me because I was adding it to a golf cart that never had a voltage indicator so I had to find a spot where it was visible and didn't interfere with other equipment. I had considered using the traditional analog gauge, but I wanted the added precision of digital. Assuming it holds up, I think this was good value for the price.

I have bought these before the blue read out shows good even in bright daylight. I wish they were longer shaft the screw on collar will not go on below a 3/4" board. Probably fine an a thin metal dashboard for most applications.v

I cannot overstate how vital this little display has become to me. I live off grid, and frequently have my camper plugged into my rig. It was a common thing to guess how much power was left in my truck looking at the analog meter in the dash, and often my truck would die before I realized it's actual level. I put this display right in the front and center on my center dash now I always know exactly what is going on with the power. It's responsive to all the powere being used in the system, it's bright, easy to install, and I've checked it against my multimeter and it's right on. Here's a user tip, if you want to keep it mobile instead of mounting it, use alligator clips on the ends of your wires then you can use it to check other batteries like drill batteries, mowers etc. Absolutely a 5 🌟 product. Very happy with the gauge. It is brightly illuminated and easy to see in the daylight. I used a 1-1/2" hole saw and that was large enough to let the retaining nut clear the sides of the hole but not exceed the cover plate. Secured it with the (2) supplied screws which I pre-drilled at 3/32”.

This is a great addition to my RV charging system. Shows actual voltage remaining from the batteries.

Hooked it up to ignition switch. Tested great with key on. Got to the lake and as soon as I started the engine, the gauge flickered and never showed voltage again.

Measures voltage well, I use in my car to make sure alternator is charging the battery good in the colder weather months, much easier to monitor charging system this way in my opinion,

Excellent item for the price. I use it for monitoring my RV battery while being stored for the winter on my trickle charger. Very useful.
