Of my gods, I can't express my relief with this product. My decade old Asus laptop had hopelessly soft screws and one was stripped before I ever opened it- another stripped when I replaced the fans. I couldn't open it to remove the battery and tried EVERYTHING. The repair shop by me asked for 30$ PER SCREW to *maybe* get them out, but sounded very unsure in their ability. I order this cheaply, it arrived overnight, and I was able to replace my laptop battery in time to start my day this morning. It took a few tries for me to get the hang of it, but the drill bit on reverse worked without using the extractor bit. I put the adapter directly in my drill without the extender and didn't experience any wobble. I was flooded with relief when it came out- I can't afford high repair costs and this worked perfectly.One clasp on the case is broken but I absolutely couldn't be bothered to care. It worked- that's the point.Photo of the offending jerk screw to shame it for it's crimes.

Cheap product, 2 drills broke and I had to drill out the screw. Not worth the money and aggravation!

Bits are a little short but they seem to get the job done.

I was able to get out a tiny stripped computer screw so I can’t complain.

These look and feel like good quality. I haven't used them yet. As soon as I have an extraction to do, I'll come back and leave an update.

Stripped a screw in my red dot optic. The screws are very small and this product removed the screws with ease. Highly recommend.

I’ve been dealing with a sheared #1 or 2 screw for a while. Tried to come up with some creative ways to get it out with no success. Decided to just buy this kit to get it over with.It arrived, looked the part. Came in a good little case, with easy to read markings and an extender.But looked the part was all it did. The extender wobbled terribly, had I used it I would have never even made contact with the screw I needed to extract. So I used an extender that came with a Bosch bit kit I own and able to at least put the drill bit on the shank of the screw.It didn’t do me any good. I couldn’t get it to bite at all. Then I tried it on some metals I know to be softer, and barely made a dent in those either.Do not buy. I’ll update this review with a recommended alternative if I find something that can actually get the job done.
