It is beautiful and well- made. I would not know that it's bamboo. It looks like wood to me. The slots are perfectly even. It holds my 16 knives, which is what it promises. IF one had a very deep drawer, it could hold even more. But it doesn't promise more, only 16 which is what would fit in a normal depth drawer. I did find a way to fit in more knives. I have some very very small cheap knives, and after the 16 normal knives are in, I can fit a few very small one in the end with the narrow slots, if I let the handles stick up in the air a bit, instead of horizontally. So- great product, and you might even be able to fit in more than 16 knives.

Good build quality and functional design.It helped me organize my cluttered knife drawer.I should've gotten this earlier.I rinsed it before installing it with soapy water.I highly recommend this!!

I put two of these, side-by-side, in a standard depth drawer. They are working great for both our small knives and our really long knives. We have small kids, so I did not want knives on the counter for safety reasons. And I love that. It looks much less cluttered. I wish it had a spot for the round sharpener thing!

Fit perfectly and matches the maple on the inside of the drawers. Fit more knives than I expected and isn't too high that it blocks the drawer from shutting. Great value for the money.
