Q: are these too heavy/bulky for long dog walks?

No, they’re lightweight and very comfortable. They’re a bit stiff in the ankle until broken in. But those long dog walks should break them in quick.

Q: The info above says that the comfort range of the boot is up to -20F but on your website it states -50C/-58 F. Which is the correct figure?

The tags on the boots say -58...they're extremely warm and unless you're traveling to Antarctica you should be fine :)

Q: How tall is the sole?

I’d say more than an inch. I had to put 3/4 orthotics in the heel area to make them more suitable for my gait tho. That having been said, I LOVE these boots. Just wore them in 2 degree, snowy/icy weather. Warm, waterproof, good traction, comfortable for walking miles and miles and miles. What more could you want? They’re a bit more comfy when there’s something to crunch in to (eg snow), but even on bare pavement, I can comfortably do 10-15 miles.

Q: Are these easy to get on and off?

They are easy to get on and off, and keep your feet super warm. Definitely worth buying!
