Excellent. Easy to use. Filled the cracks brilliantly.

I used these filler sticks to fill some small missing areas of veneer on a Victorian writing slope. With work, the results are reasonable and there is plenty of wax left for future use. From my experience with this:~ Manage your expectations. It won't be a completely invisible mend, unless perhaps you are an expert on BBC's The Repair Shop.~ It's important to make sure that the gap you are filling is sound; any loose material in it will mean that the wax won't stick.~ It helps to keep the wax in a warm atmosphere before you use it, to make it a little easier to work with.~ Follow the instructions on the packet.~ Don't rush, work in a good natural light and keep playing around with the different colours until you get the hang of it and can achieve a reasonable degree of camouflage.~ The great beauty of this product is that if you are dissatisfied with the result, you can dig the wax out again and have another go.

Easy to use and does the job

In fairness, I might have been trying to repair too big a gouge in the wood. Still, I found it messy and difficult to work with, matching the colours was a nightmare and the overall result pretty shoddy. If you have teeny tiny little scrapes, this might work but then is it really necessary? If it IS necessary because the scrapes and gouges are all too obvious, then you might, like me, find this a bit of a pig...

Our new door had some damage after it was fitted we used this item and it covered the damage and you carnt tell it was damaged a very slight dent so great does what it says

I had a massive tear on the fake wood finish from some sellotape from moving home. I don’t think the product is meant to be used for large areas of damage but this seemed to be the best option. The result is not perfect, but good enough that the mark doesn’t horribly stand out anymore. I like that you can slowly blend in colours and scrape off wax if you think you have applied too much of one colour. I might adjust this finish more but for now I’m happy enough with the result, better than I expected.

Used to cover/disguise some surface scratches on a wooden floor. Worked extremely well - hardly able to see them now.

Easy to melt but not easy to apply as it just solidifies and disintegrates alm9st immediately as opposed to remaining a paste.I tried it on medium sized cherry wood floor scratches. It didn't really work. It would be ridiculous time consuming even if it did. I feel a liquid stain would work better. Couldn't get hang of it. Others are successful but I'm not sure how.

Prodotto molto valido. Meglio scaldarlo per rendere la cera più comoda da spalmare sulla superficie da migliorare. Io avevo dei buchi nei davanzali e tirando bene e spalmando bene la cera e poi tirando via la cera in eccesso con la spatola che è in dotazione, sono tornati nuovi!!! Questo prodotto lo può utilizzare chiunque, detto da me che sono assolutamente inesperta nel fai da te! Certo, bisogna usare olio di gomito ma il risultato è ottimo!!
