My owners manual states the Motorcraft FL-500-S oil filter fits the 2013 MKT Ecoboost engine you say not. Whats up. Ken J.

It says it won't fit a 2013 f150 but a second seller on Amazon says it will so I doubt it's Amazon data base it's probably just the sellers error. With that said "fitting" a vehicle doesn't mean it's the right filter due to the check valve in the filter. And the flow characteristics of the filter.
