I'm as non melanated as they come so I am not necessarily using this for protection for my hair, but I have some sensory issues that turns me into the hulk when my hair is tangled all around my neck when I sleep and have found bonnets to be the perfect way to alleviate that overstimulation. For similar sensory reasons I was specifically looking for something that didn't have a bow that needed to be tied (and cause a lump in my rotisserie chicken style of sleep) nor something that was just ruched at the edge. This set fits my head perfectly, nice and snug so they don't fall off. The silky fabric does seem thinner (like when held up to the light) than my first bonnet purchase, but for my needs that's not a deal breaker. The material seems nice and soft, but again I am not qualified to speak on whether this will protect hair that requires a little more gentle care.

Anybody who has curly hair needs one of these sets of bonnets. Keeps all the hair out of my face and off of my neck while I am sleeping. Love the colors.

Great for the price, but they have an odd smell to them, like a chemical smell. Definitely wash before using.

I like them. When you first get them they’re small but after washing them they get bigger and can hold a lot better

I have a small head so they fit fine. I have not had them totally come off my head, but they do move. They are thinner than others and are cooler on my head. If you purchase them, wash the dark colors first. The green or turquoise green one disclosed my white pillow case, the pink did not. I have not had on the black and gold ones yet l, but will wash first. It was disappointing.

Good cap. Don't know why some people have left negative feedback. If you have big head then it will be small for you.

I have not worn a night cap before and almost didn't try these because some of the reviews said the inside was not satin/silk. I am so happy I took a chance on these. The cap is not lined, so the inside is the same material as the outside and very light weight. I have quite long hair and toss and turn alot, but I had no problem with the cap staying on all night. The wide band is soft and comfortable. No more worrying about satin/silk pillow covers, especially when traveling! Great bargain too.Buy these, you won't be sorry.
