These are super comfortable and not a thong back. They snap in the bottom, middle and don't feel uncomfortable at all. I have these in short sleeve as well. I bought a Medium and I'm 5'3" 135lbs and they fit great. The bottom is a bit loose though.

Material of the bodysuit is great, stretchy, quality fabric, and not too thin or thick. The material has a softness to it and provides some warmth during those cold days. The bodysuit fit pretty well but dropped a star due to it running a bit big. I chose a medium seeing as how I'm 5'2 and 150 lbs and I'm usually a medium in clothing. The issue as to where it ran large for me is on the lower end where you clip the suit into place. That lower area was pretty big and rendered about a 4 in gap between the suit and my person. I dropped another star because the black bodysuit was previously warn. It arrived closed and sealed with the rest as if in a pack but the black was unfolded, inside out, and had a deodorant stain on it. I didn't make a big deal just threw all of them in the wash prior to wearing but was pretty disappointed in that. Aside from those two issues I'd say the suits are greatfor everyday use.
