Review: For anyone who enjoyed the Wolverine but hasn't seen the Extended edition cut ... - For anyone who enjoyed the Wolverine but hasn't seen the Extended edition cut of this film or the "UNLEASHED EXTENDED EDITION" as they call it, or anyone who hasnt seen the theatrical relese altogether please do yourself a favour and grab a copy of this, you won't be disappointed. There isn't hours of extra footage like say The Lord of the Rings extended editions however in my opinion I feel like this version adds so much more weight to the film and helps to flesh of some scenes and characters. If you were one of those people *SPOILER ALERT* who wasn't happy because Wolverine doesn't really fight any of the ninjas like in the comics, you will hopefully be happy with this cut, I won't spoil it too much for you. There are a few other scenes like this one as well that make you wonder why in God's holy name did they cut this from the movie. There is also an alternative ending to this film that would have been far more entertaining and a really nice nod to the comics if they had used it instead of the rather boring one they ended up sticking with. I thoroughly enjoyed this cut of the movie, give it a try and I'm 99% confident you will feel the same Review: Logan - This is the sequel to the first wolverine movie and in my opinion much much better. Im a big wolverine fan and have read many of his comic books, and to be honest this film comes closer to protraying the character than the previous film which i thought was really weak. Set in japan the story looks a little bit deeper at the wolverine and his immortality, action scenes are excellent and hugh jackman is in top form. This is the definitive version (the extended version) as it features scenes that were cut from the cinema version and is more bloody and obviously longer. So buy the extended cut, highly recommended.

This is not a review of the 3D version, just the "unleashed" extended cut
To be totally honest, I bought this purely for the extended cut of the film so I can't review the 3D version because I've never watched it. But speaking of the extended cut all I can say is; This is how this film was meant to be seen, it's still not perfect but it is definitely superior to the theatrical version. More action, more blood, more swearing, but most importantly, more character building. The story is pretty much the same but a few elements are explored a little more that help the pacing and help you get a little more invested. If I had to rate them, I'd give the theatrical cut 6/10, the unleashed cut gets 8/10. The set includes the theatrical version in 2D & 3D. The extended cut is only in 2D. Thankfully all three versions have their own disk, meaning there are no side effects on picture or audio quality from over-compressing 3 films onto 1 disk highly recommend this set to x-men/action film fans

The movie comic fans have been waiting for
This is it! The story Frank Miller would have been proud of. 'The Wolverine' actually starts with references to Miller's and Chris Claremont's classic story - it even takes place in Japan and Mariko plays a central part in the film. The japanese locations have been used perfectly to create absolutely beautiful settings you can enjoy - if you can catch your breath ibetween the action sequences. In short - this is by far the best Wolverine film!

loved the wolverine unleashed edition
loved the wolverine unleashed edition, added scenes, blood & violence is a plus point for me.the wolverine is based on the classic japanese saga limited series from the 80s by chris claremont & frank miller.it sort of sticks to the source material with a few changes here & there but i really enjoyed it,the last 20 minutes could of been better but overall one of the better x-men related films.

Worth watching in Blu-ray 3D
I first saw this movie on standard blu-ray and was very impressed with the storyline and overall performance. I bought it on 3D and was blown over by the sheer quality of the production. As always, the viewer's experience will vary as it will be based on the configuration or setup of their Active or Passive 3D TV.
