Read the whole description very carefully and you’ll find this is exactly as described. I rushed through the details, not paying as much attention as usual so I was disappointed that the strawlike texture in the photo is exactly that-photographic. This runner is very soft and very thin just like the details say. The “texture” is visual only, printed onto the almost velvet soft fabric. I love how the runner looks in my hallway from a distance but don’t know how durable it will be. It wasn’t what I expected but that’s my fault.
