Very good shaver
I have yet to watch videos or anything on how to use it so take this review with a grain of salt lolBut with that being said it is amazing, it cuts really well, I’m not sure about the blades durability yet.The battery life is phenomenal, it’s very, very easy to clean. The size is pretty small and comfortable. It will easily last you a while because of its durability and the fact that it’s EXTREMELY waterproof!

Hopefully better than the cheaper ones they sell
Im rating this at a 4 star because the cheaper versions they offer are junk. I am hoping this one isnt. One improvement I see right off the bat is the whole plastic assembly that holds the cutter is replaceable. On the cheap version its not replaceable and the plastic constantly breaks. The part that drives the cutter is a different design also and made out of metal. I look for this to last more than the 6 months the cheaper versions (I had 2 of them) lasted. Just in case I purchased the 2 year warranty which I recommend you do. For right now it operates great and I really like the fact that it doesnt have the other cutter on the other end which you constantly hit that button to activate it when you were in mid shave. I dont use this like they intend and actually shave my face with it which I have a tendency to not shave regular and I can shave with no problem as it gets the long hairs that become short hairs and the short trimmer gives you a good shave on one pass. I suggest you get two of them if you use them as intended and by all means mark them!!!

My new travel buddy
This one has become my new travel buddy. Whenever I am traveling I am taking it with me. The pouch provided is so small and efficient for it to fit in anywhere. The best feature is the precision dial that you can choose. Battery life seems to be good and I really hope it stays the same for a long time. Already tried dry as well as wet trim and both passed with flying colors. Good value for money and I would definitely recommend this to all who travel for business frequently as you can carry it with you easily.

Got cut. However support is great
Got cut on day 1. Innitially I was very upset, but it did get a lot farther than any other razer has before doing so. Customer support was very quick to contact me and go over what happened fairly fast and helped.

SKIN SAFE NOT CUT SAFE!!!
I bought this shaver after much debating since it was so much more expensive than I wanted to pay for a simple shaver. I had bought several cheaper shavers and was not unhappy with the results but I did have nicks. No blood but you could feel the cuts. So amazon prime day came and this went on sale for 87.00 so I took a chance. Big date night I took out the mower and went to work. At the time I didn't notice the cuts but as soon as we started having sex I could feel the wounds. And it made the sex unpleasant. The accuracy was no better than the cheaper version I bought.weight who cares it cut me! Hair length very good but I cut myself badly! Waterproof NOT CUT PROOF LOL! Durability unknown but I cut my groin area. I am sending my back not worth the money.

Great Quality – But Not a Huge Upgrade if You Have the Previous Versions
The Lawn Mower 5.0 works great — solid build quality, smooth performance, and the different attachments are a nice touch. It delivers exactly what you’d expect from MANSCAPED, just like the earlier models. That said, if you already own a previous version like the 4.0, there’s not a huge reason to upgrade unless you really want one of the new attachments or have a specific need. Still, a great product that gets the job done reliably and comfortably.

READ THE INSTRUCTIONS - Edit from previous review(Lawnmower 2.0 > Lawnmower 5.0)
EDITEarly this AM while preparing to return this device because it doesn't trim as close as I wanted, there was this peculiar tab sticking out of the box that said "Read before use."Attached to that tab was an instruction booklet. And in that booklet were diagrams describing the different trim heights for the myriad of attachments that this thing came with...I realized, much to my chagrin, that I was not mentally equipped to handle a device that gave numerous choices in specific hair length and very unfairly rated the 5.0 at two stars. Manscaped customer service even reached out to help.I have rightfully raised the rating for this device as the phenomenon that I was encountering was less a flaw in grooming technology, rather just a defect within operator headspace. Please do yourself a favor, and read the instructions to aid in your selection of your required hair length.PREVIOUS REVIEWCurrent modern trends in men's grooming standards have led to the proliferation of men's grooming devices. Although I do follow recent standards, I remain very old-school in mentality.I have owned a Manscaped 2.0 since its genesis circa 2018. This device was a "no-frills" compact groomer whose battery life had begun diminishing over time (as expected). Adjusting to its shorter operating time was not that great of an obstacle, however, the larger issue of razor burn surfaced. My poor 2.0 fought valiantly for over half a decade, but unfortunately, it became time to part ways. The next hurdle became the price point as the new machines are about twice the price of the old ones. Fortunately, I was able to get a bundle deal and add a nose trimmer and a bag (if it arrives) for about $110ish.I was excited to be able to have Manscaped most developed device, and (for some reason) excited that it was USB C vs standard charger. That is where the happiness ended. My first attempt to use the 5.0 resulted in not only frustration, some injury, and far longer time spent grooming due to its shaving head. Upon delivery, the 5.0 has a plastic head attached to the grooming surface which allows for controlled cutting lengths.I prefer to groom down to the skin so that wasn't ideal for me, but the plastic head was attached in a way that made me assume I would break it if I continued to force it off. As soon as it tore some hair from a place that I don't want to name in an Amazon review, that plastic head came right (explicit) off. After feeling dumb (and not wanting to admit to the wife that I didn't read the instructions) I thought it was going to be smooth (pun intended) sailing. That was not the case. This new device appears to be manufactured with safety involved (probably for people like me) and the cutting head remains much further back (from the cutting area) than my 2.0 which doesn't allow for close cuts, and requires extensive passes to remove the hair.So not only does the 5.0 take a longer time to pick up the hair due to its safe design, it doesn't even cut close enough to the skin. After two different attempts at using their newest feature-rich device, I am unfortunately going to commit a cardinal sin and send this (now used) grooming device back to its maker.p.s. I did enjoy the flashlight feature far more than I would have thought.
