They hatch and mine are fairy shrimp.
I know my camera sucks but these are Fairy shrimp, less then a week old and still growing. The hatch rate is high, high enough I had hatchlings during the "soaking" phase to prep them for the actual hatching if you read the directions they send you with them. They work very well.

It's snowing
The media could not be loaded. I hatched an army of SomethingIf it turns out to be fairy shrimp i'll change the review to 5 stars. Does not took like daphnia thoughI lacked feeding instructions and they came without a box.------came back to add a star- I've separated them out into 3 1 gallon jugs and they've grown a bit so now I can clearly see that i've got fairy shrimp and ALSO daphnia. I really didn't want the Daphnia. I bumped up 1 star instead of 2 because it'll be a pain to figure out what to do with the Daphnia so they won'tbreed and compete with the shrimp for resources.

Not fairy shrimp
I purchased these for my science class, which uses the NYU SAIL curriculum. I needed fairy shrimp specifically. These eggs hatched well... but the organisms were water fleas, not fairy shrimp.

Similar experience here....
They hatched, and there ARE fairy shrimp in these - but it's hard to tell what percentage at this point. I don't mind all the 'extra' critters so I'm not mad, but i could see how it might be irritating to some i suppose.
