useful according to the situation
I needed it as a spy camera, however it would be useless since the light is always on when it is working. The quality of course is not HD, however I found it useful for video when it is completely dark, it records video in black and white when everything is completely dark and you can recognize everything, I felt like I was in a horror movie making video in complete darkness lol
