The cable that is included in the box is not the power cable. The cable that is hard mounted to the drive on the bottom is the connection for your computer, that being said, it is a true plug and play. Once I figured out that I was the issue by attaching the wrong cable, it worked seamlessly. This is exactly what I need with my new Dell computer, I now have the ability to copy my projects to a CD and add to or edit as I want without a bunch of keystrokes. If you have purchased a new computer without a built in CD-ROM, this is your fix, as well as some extra ports just makes it a fantastic buy.

Good drive, fast. The card reader & USB jacks are a nice touch although I hardly have use for them.The cord is a little short. It could be just 4" longer and it would be perfect.Update to original review after using 1 month: This optical drive disconnects by itself repeatedly. It's doing it with 2 different computers (Windows). Very annoying; I'll have to buy another brand.Update No. 2: Device stopped working altogether. This can't be normal.

It works with no problems. It came in a packaged box. There was no damage. I'm converting 300+ CD's to FLAC on my computer. New computer dosen't have a CD drive.

The installation was simple plug and play on my windows 11 machine. The product feels robust but must be handled carefully. Will update again after 3 months.

rien à dire, peu utilisé mais tout ce à quoi il est prévu fonctionne. Comme beaucoup, je trouve le câble usb trop court.Le porte carte sd fourni a du mal à s'insérer dans la fente, j'ai dû utiliser un autre porte carte. La prise en charge w11 s'est faite sans intervention. Sinon la conception de ce lecteur me parait robuste, et il fonctionne parfaitement. Je recommande.
