All-Clad Cookware Protectors & Silicone Grip Set

I received All-Clad stainless steel pans for my birthday, and I wanted a way to protect them from scratches when I have them stacked in cabinets. These are the perfect size for that, and they seem to be working so far. The quality is good; they’re pretty thick, and the color is nice because it blends with the steel versus some wild color that stands out. I also love that this pack included the pot handles; they get pretty hot when you’re cooking with multiple pans on a gas stove, and they’re so much easier to use than the big cloth pot gloves I have. Definitely worth the cost to protect your investment in quality pans!

Fits the cookware really well, they are pretty soft and fairly sturdy, I expect they will hold up pretty well. I don’t love the silicone grippers, I think that using a pot holder or dish rag is easy and more comfortable. Not really sure what makes these protectors better than off-market ones, but they are good quality.

These are thick, soft and flexible protectors. I do wish they were all large and cut to size- not enough large to cover large skillets and deep pans. The flexibility is nice because they fit and stay put whereas stiff ones tend to move around- at least until they break in. But now the existential questions- is it worth it to break the bank for these? These don’t really need a break in a plus but others will break in fairly quick. Thickness- how thick do they really need to be? IDK that a thick one offers more protection than one half its size. Softness- does our cookware really care? Since these were not enough large ones in the set, I had to buy more, so I went with cheaper ones- no regrets yet.
