Rough Ryder Trapper

This knife was slow in arriving but was worth the wait. Beautiful, sharp knife with excellent build quality. No half stop but excellent walk/talk. Beautiful deep blue with crescent moon. My fourth RR and they just keep getting better. Well worth the money.

This is quite a nice, sturdy trapper. FYI, it is a full-sized trapper, not a mini or a tiny trapper. This is the biggest size trapper you can buy. I believe it's a little over 4 inches closed. For some reason, I thought it was going to be the size of a Case Mini Trapper. Oh well! I'm still happy with it! I probably won't carry it much due to its size. Just too big and heavy for EDC. I'll keep it around the house and use it for odd jobs. Also, I was under the impression that the handles would be blue. Well, if they are blue, then they're the darkest navy blue I've ever seen. They appear to be a solid black color.

Perfect gift and reasonable price

Like this knife so far. Side by side with a Case you'd have difficulty telling the difference. Until you take a close look. The fit an finish are symmetric and overall clean looking on the outside. But the inside of the knife was filthy and grimy, not a big deal. However, both my blades ARE NOT STRAIGHT! But I keep forgetting...even though it looks nice, it's still made in china and comes with the issues associated with that as far as quality control goes. I paid $12.88 for it, so instead of having a collection piece, it'll end up being an excellent EDC knife that should serve me well. So no real loss.

I really like the Rough Ryder brand! The ones I have purchased have all been top notch. Fit in well with my Case knives, and a much lower cost.
