Homelegance Erath 81" Fabric Sofa, Orange

I received my couch today and I love it!Note: I had the same issue as another reviewer, there was sawdust in a few of the screw holes and I had to get it out before the screws would properly screw in.It is firm and incredibly comfortable and the quality is way above what I was expecting! The delivery men took away the huge box it was in, I was worried about that part. The even delivered it on it’s back so I could more easily install the feet!The feet were very easy to install particularly because I had already read about the sawdust problem. :)It is exactly the color I thought it was and is going to look awesome in my new living room!3months in review: I mostly wanted to say that everyone who comes to visit comments on how comfortable and attractive this couch is. I really wasn’t expecting a couch this nice! My cats have pulled out a few little strings, but they’re easily trimmed with no trace.

At about 2 years the seat part of this sofa started breaking down drastically. There is almost no padding left above the springs, padding broken down at the front, springs popping out, and fabric is wearing thin. Best to spend a little more money for a better quality sofa

Love this couch, color/quality are perfect. Only snafu: I had trouble attaching two of the legs. The screws wouldn't stay put/kept slipping out... felt like they were stripped or something. I got down there with a flashlight and saw that the entry points for the screws were filled with sawdust which prevented them from anchoring. I used the end of a screw driver to clean out the holes... problem solved. The legs are very sturdy once in place. Not really a complaint but something I noticed: the legs are spray painted black but the original dark brown wood shows through in some areas. Actually would've preferred them to be dark brown but other than that, everything's great. Would definitely recommend this couch.

Arrived with a broken frame. Looked like someone took the huge couch box and threw it off a cliff, then it tumbled down 400ft of rock landing on a fire hydrant upside down. I made the delivery people stay as I examined it. I know a very hand person who I knew could fix it (and did fix it) Returning a couch via amazon is a nightmare, not to mention it took 2 weeks to get it to me. So, after some work, the frame is now prob way stronger than brand new, all parts were reinforced and put back together neatly. Conclusion: if I didn't know someone to fix this, it would have been a pain to return. Amazon will blame the delivery folks, and they in turn will blame the warehouse. You cannot win. Soooo unless you are super handy and ready to fix, id look for another. Once fixed, I do enjoy the couch. Very cool looking, and the orange is very nice. It was an odd experience...

We love the color; it's exactly as it appeared on the screen and matches a vintage recliner that we have. The seat is a bit wider than expected, and that's a good thing because this sofa was for our den, and it gets napped on more than it gets sat on. Don't get me wrong: It IS comfortable to sit on, but it's kind of firm like a mattress rather than super soft like some sofas--you don't sit on this and sink into it. So, if my husband is laying on it and falls asleep watching TV, he doesn't wake up with a back ache. So yeah, it's an excellent napping sofa. No one is going to mistake it for a thousand dollar sofa, but we didn't expect that: We wanted something we could put our feet on, something the dogs could sleep on (and they do,) something that looked good but didn't cost a fortune because it's gonna get a lot of use. This is perfect.

never bought furniture on line never mind a couch. i am a big girl and was concerned about the sturdiness but this couch is amazing. its firm but totally comfortable either sitting or lying down on it. was totally impressed with the couch and its super cool looking . on one hand kinda modern and yet fit the mid century look of my house. kudos to the purchase!

I love the look of this couch but it’s not very sturdy. I’ve had it for 8 months and it’s coming apart. This couch is awesome but I don’t think it will hold up in the long run

This is a great sofa. I’ve had it about 4 months and it still looks brand new...pretty amazing considering I have two kids and three dogs. Very comfortable and sturdy. I bought this to replace a custom made sofa I returned made by a well known mid century modern furniture manufacturer. I’m so happy with this purchase because the price is fantastic and the quality is higher than what I was expecting. I wish there was an ottoman to match...I would buy that, too.
