Super easy to install (if you have done any work in your dryer door before, which I had. Make sure you pull up the manual so you aren't making more work for yourself by removing other screws that don't need to be removed for the handle replacement. Manuals are online too- srsly make it easy on yourself)Fit was perfect. This handle, as other reviews have stated, doesn't have the padded back, but this is a pretty minor inconvenience for a great priced, very needed piece! One could always glue something there if it was a big deal - there is a space there that a thin pad could be glued too.Would buy again, would recommendYou'd never know looking at the machine that it wasn't the factory handle.

After years of dealing with a broken Kenmore dryer door handle that I didn’t replace since the OEM replacement was plastic like the original, I saw this one on Amazon and for the price decided to give it a try. Still plastic and not padded on the back, but I think it may have been redesigned and made thicker than the original. Simple to replace and should last the life of the appliance. Looks as good as the original !

When the handle of our Kenmore dryer broke clean off, I thought to call in a service person. However, it occurred to me that it might be a simple fix if I could just get the replacement handle. Once again, Amazon came through and my sweetheart fixed it. I was awesome and of course, saved a ton of $$$. It was exactly as described and you'd never know it wasn't the original handle.

Just so you know these are plastic not ‎Alloy Steel as stated in the description. Lost a star for that.My old one had a nice padded material inside the hand hold. This one does not, just plastic. I'm OK with that.It works as a replacement for my Kenmore Elite he3 Model 84832201 which was not listed but I figured it was close enough to the other numbers so I'd give it a go! Plus I could return it if it didn't fit.While I had the door apart I decided to reverse the swing at the same time since in my new laundry room it was opening in the wrong direction. I now have a new handle and more room when the dryer door is open!

Replaced with no issues, good fit, bolts hold. Part is just slightly more flexible than the original, making it less likely to break again. Could be that the original one just hardened a little over time, its been 15 years.

Door handle broke. This was a good replacement and not too difficult to install. Husband said it wouldn't work... but it did!
