This headphone stand arrived in a slimline simply branded cardboard box and required a small amount of assembly upon arrival which is simple. The stand is comprised of x3 parts – an aluminium central stand, a black plastic base and a TPU rest which the headphones sit on.The components slot together to create a fairly sturdy base but I did think that it would be a bit more heavyweight and I did misunderstand that the base would be plastic as opposed to a matching aluminium which would have been preferable (I’m not sure this is made very obvious in the listing). The aluminium central column is CNC routed and is hollowed so very lightweight.The base has x4 silicone pads on the base to prevent the stand from moving around on your table and the footprint of the stand is relatively small (9.5cm x 9.5cm) which not only saves space but keeps your desktop tidy.The stand works well with my Edifier headphones and should suit a range of headphones with band sizes up to 4.5cm wide. I also quite like that the black colour goes well with my dark-coloured headphones. The TPU rest isn’t quite as soft and flexible as I expected it to be but it still largely conforms to the shape of the headphone band to prevent impressions indenting into the padding.Priced at £6.99 at the time of reviewing, this is a good price for this headphone stand and it works well for my needs and although I didn’t expect the base to be plastic, and the TPU rest is slightly stiffer than I was expecting, I would still be happy to recommend it as it has made my desk space much tidier and organised.
