A real kettle but a bit pricey
I love it! It boils water well, the water stays warm for a while. The kettle is well built and looks beautiful. It is fast enough. It shouldn't be that expensive to purchase. This is what a real kettle should be like. It isn't luxury.

Quality, art and functionality - best kettle for tea and French Press coffee
While it's a larger kettle, it looks fantastic out on the countertop. Royal Champagne is super soft sheen of mellow gold. Combination of brushed chrome & and Champagne works well with my old fashioned tan countertops.Settings for teas and french press coffee really do make a difference to flavors. It's a little on the heavy side when filled to max level, but very manageable when filled to 8 cups.This was bought to replace a gooseneck kettle, happily surprised the conventional high spout is very easy to pour directly into mugs, tea cups, and especially French Press. High recommend.
