Block Bait Rodent Killer (15x20g)

Had problem with mice during the heat wave near the back door, which meant they were also getting into the kitchen, we had some old poison that didn’t seem to work. We got recommended blocks and when I searched through Amazon these were the best ones. We placed 2 blocks out first, in the usual places we had seen the mice. It took around 24 hours for the mice to first eat any of the block. Each lunch time we would see a mouse chewing on the block- this was the same for around a week. We did catch some mice in traps but there were at least 2/3 eating the blocks. After around 10 days the one block was gone and a third of the other one was left. I decided to put a fresh block out which wasn’t touched at all (apart from the snails- they will eat it all! ). Haven’t seen any sign of them since so very effective. Very good product and excellent value and easy to use.

This is hands down the best poison one can buy without being a professional or needing any licenses. I have been consistently using this around my property for years now in the big cheese boxes and it solves any pesky rats that come along within days. Living rurally I keep the boxes around my property fully baited year round, I don’t ever refresh the bait unless it’s gone. There may be periods of many months where the bait is sitting and it still gets taken eventually when something does come along. Great great product and much safer to use than the grain type poisons. You can pick the boxes up and shake them vigorously and nothing comes out, essential with nosey dogs and even peskier children at home! If you ever have an issue, save yourself a fortune on professional fees and simply buy this along with the matching bait boxes.

I've been using this product for years now to keep mice and the occasional rats under control, indoors for the mice and outdoors for both, and it works very well. I use the red blocks in combination with the blue blocks as I find some rodents have a preference, but it always clears up any infestations. However, it does take time, in some cases it has been a few weeks so don't expect quick results. I'd also question the claim that one block kills a rat, more like one tub if going by my own experience, so I always buy in bulk and keep a supply at hand. I will definitely continue using the Big Cheese and would recommend it, with the caveat that results will come, but usually over multiple packets and weeks of continuous use.

I have an intermittent issue with a visiting rat. I've put these in all the internal entry points and outside in a bait box. At first I was optimistic: the box was empty and there was no scratching under the floor for nearly a week. Then it started again, so I put some new blocks in, but when I checked the next day it was full of slugs munching on them. They're immune to the poison, so I've just been paying to feed them! As for the rat(s) it just ignores them.

First time using these more powerful big cheese. I put it down we shall see. Will update. I'm using now 6 years big cheese. The other big cheese blue ones take few days to work. Rats are smart and they will watch and wait other rat eating it first. If thers more than one. To make sure the foods okay. They don't all eat it right away. Why people till hear feet. Rats will make,e sure it's safe to eat first by watching a rat who's ate it. These red blocks in the pot are meant to be stronger poison and faster. So may work fast but also other rats will see them die before they themselves have eaten it. I like the tub with way to seal the poison. I don't like the bags on there big cheese.not easy to open with gloves on. I don't like the blue blocks bag not being sealable and easy to open. Observation These red blocks the blocks are massive and far too big. Rats dont eat it at the bait box usually, they grab and run. generally climbing to lofts if in the house. Not everyone is fit enough to getup a loft to put poison up there. Herr, Rats are climbing up sewage pipes to houses, in the country.every sept. Rats they take the cube with them. These blocks are size wise far too big for anything but big rats to lift and hold a climb with using their mouths to hold the block. i suggest to shrink the block sizes so the rats are able to lift and carry the block with their mouth, totake the poison with them. Warning!!! I DONT recommend using poison blocks outside. We need to protect the rest of nature wildlife. Other creatures can eat it if outside even in a bait box. including hedgehogs. Dead rats are eaten eaten by owls, hawks, crows, seagulls.you will poison other wildlife using these outside. If you do use outside Never ever use poison blocks outside without bait boxes. If can poison birds, cats, foxes, rabbits etc. Birds will pick it up eat it then poison their young. Inside same only use bait boxes in places kids and pets have no access to. you can poison pets, kids if your not careful. Always use gloves when touching bait and bait boxes its still poison. Wash your hands after taking gloves off. .
